congrats

I love it! It took me a while to pick out the screen. I wasn't sure whether to go with gray or white. In the end I am glad I went with white due to my 16 foot throw distance. I needed the extra gain the screen had to offer. Only thing I am disappointed in are black levels, but I knew that before purchasing the 8350. It really is only the black bars on the top and bottom that don't quite look black enough. The actual picture is fantastic though.

It's in a basement with a walkout to the back of the house. I do plan on putting black-out cloth on the glass doors and a curtain.

Thanks! The second sub is to the right of the media console in the rear of the room. You can see it in pictures 8 and 10.

You didn't mention the sound,...how does it sound? I like the room, nicely proportioned/shaped. Everything appears great, what's your next upgrade?

Nice job

Nice job

The sound is amazing. I purchased my NHT speakers in February and don't regret it one bit. As for my subwoofers, they work very well together. My velodyne handles the higher frequencies and the HSU gets down real low. I barely have them turned 1/4 volume level. I don't really have anything planned at the moment as far as upgrades are concerned. I will probably buy some NHT speakers in the rear of the room and possibly paint my walls/ceiling darker.

Thanks for all the comments everyone!

This setup looks excellent! You did a spectacular job!! 7.2 is essentially as good as it gets, in terms of surround imaging! Round of applause!

I think your next upgrade should definitely be some acoustic panels for those bare walls. You'll be amazed at just how great of a system you truly have.

Agree!

I had my theater room 7 years before changing my front wall and ceiling to black. Only regret is that I should of done it 7 years ago, what a difference it makes in contrast and color perception!
