Ok, to start out with I have a Samsung 58C550 unlocked to 650. I have 3 video sources, PS3 slim, Xbox 360, and ATT Uverse DVR. All of these are running to a Harman Kardon AVR 354 and then out to the TV. For speakers, I chose to go all B&W except for sub. I have a pair of B&W 604 S3's for my fronts, and LCR-60 is handling center, and a pair of 602 S1's for Surround L/R. I have no rear surrounds at this time. My sub is an MTX SW1212. All this is in a room about 15' x 25'. Opposite the 25' wall, where my couch sits is a half wall that only goes half that distance and opens to the kitchen, the other half is completely open to the dining room. The dining room and kitchen are all one room.

Well, I'll have to keep working on my psychic abilities 'cause it looks better in real life . When you look at the bottom of the screen it looks like the water is outside the tv frame, neat.

So here are the rear speakers.

Here are some pics of my room configuration. Perhaps you can offer some ideas for improving my setup. Please forgive the mess. My wife and I both work full time, so with three young kids it's hard to keep up with daily duties.

I also have a small listening setup that I'll take pics of later.

Zaph Audio tested the B&W midrange and it was quite special with low distortion and relatively high efficiency.

Looks good. Props for not mounting the TV above the fireplace.

I want to punch a baby every time I see someone do that on here.

Ok, so now that you guys have seen how my HT is set up, I would like some input on speaker locations. Are my fronts too far apart? Should they be closer to the center? I think my rears are ok and I can't think of any other way to put them, but I am open to suggestions. As for room correction/treatment, what do you guys recommend?

judging from the pic, you could try to spread them apart a little more or bring your couch ahead a bit. Ideally, you want the distance between your L/R to be as close as possible to the distance of your L/R to your seating position. Like an equilateral triangle if you will.

Well, I can't really spread them apart much more because of the fireplace on one side. If I slide everything over the other way, then I end up having to move my couch over as well and end up blocking the walkway through the kitchen. So I decided to try moving my couch forward. I'm still undecided if this is better or not. It has a more intimate feeling, but now the couch is in the middle of the room and I lose most of my bass. Also the rear speakers are now farther away and behind at an angle so I don't hear them as well.

Does your receiver have Audyssey or allow you to change the individual speaker distance, cross over and db levels? This may help with the rears.

The HK has EZset/EQ, but I can adjust distances and crossover per speaker.

Sadly my room is not quite big enough to position them further from the wall.
