Equipment List:

50" Pioneer PDP-5080HD

Yamaha RX-V3900 Receiver
Paradigm Monitor 7's V.6 Fronts
Paradigm Titans Rears
Paradigm Center 3
Paradigm PDR-10 Sub

Xbox 360
PS3
Mac Mini Plex Media Center
Belkin Power Conditioner

Turtle Beach Gaming Headset X41

Bell 9242 Sat Receiver

I am kind of stuck at the stage of not being able to find anything to upgrade. I have thought about replacing the Pioneer with something 1080P but I still enjoy the nice blacks with this set and at my viewing distance I am not sure 1080 would make a huge difference.

Would love to hear any comments you guys have or suggestions on how to improve things.

Very nice, any pictures of the rear of the room? I can agree with you on your concern for anything to upgrade. It seems in your current configuration it will be a case of diminishing returns to upgrade unless you go well beyond what you have currently. I could see a bigger tv and that would necessitate 1080p but beyond that I guess you could start with some acoustic treatments if you want. I can't see the back of your room so I'm not sure what to recommend back there. Maybe spread the fronts a bit to improve imaging? You seem space constrained though so that might not be an option. Really I can't find any fault with your current set up. It's very clean and well thought out. Nicely done. smile.gif

edit I spy a toy beside your front right tower so maybe keeping it compact keeps the kiddo out lol. Unless that's a pet toy in which case nevermind.

Yeah it has been a real struggle with upgrading and space constraints. I cannot increase the front sound stage due to the system being in a corner. Yes those are Children's toys (9 month and old a 3 year old). Surprised my equipment has survived this long. I will post some back shots of the rear speakers. THey are not in an ideal place but again the room is strange in shape. Thanks for the feedback.

I used a PDR10 for awhile. Awesome sub!

No subwoofer I've heard has been able to produce the bass I've experienced in the Corps!

Must..stop...buying...every bluray release...

I have a 46" Panasonic plasma that is 1080p. In all honesty, I think you would be better off taking the money that would go towards a 1080p tv and putting in a 529 for your kids. wink.gif
