I am putting together what this forum would likely call substandard system. So far I have a pioneer vsx-1122 (7.2), SW-450 sub,, and KF-28 icon floor speakers. For surrounds, I am considering either quintet, or icon center and 2 pair of icon bookshelfs kb-15's. plus an extra sw-450 if it turns out I need more base.

Was curious if anyone has any suggestions between the quintet and icon as for just surrounds in a 7.1 or 7.2 setup. Thanks!

I have the quintet system, and love it. I bought the 10" sub and the low end is awesome.

Ok, we'll here are the pix. I went with the icon center channel and two icon bookshelf speakers, along with the icon floor speakers and the 450 sub. Loudest stereo I have ever heard. Thinking of adding two kf28's in the rear instead of surrounds, interested in comments on zone two options for this. I think I have per outs I can use for a second amp....[IMG]

Also thinking I might add a second sub, you can kind of tell the sub is on the left, and I really like bass anyway...
