Hello, long time lurker over here. I thought I'd share what I've put together so far. It all began from a Pioneer Ht-071 HTiB. I'm still using the same receiver from that system (vsx-321). Then I added 1st gen pioneer bookshelfs and center. Shortly after i replaced the bookshelfs with the fs-52s and added the mk2 subwoofer. So far I like the set up. The receiver is next on the list to replace. I am still figuring all this out. So if you guys see anything that i can move around or add to help obtain the best sound with what i have, I would really appreciate it. I do not mind moving this stuff around lol

Equiment

receiver- pioneer vsx- 321
center - pioneer sp- c21
fronts- pioneer fs-52
rears- pioneers bs21 (not set up)
tv- panasonic u54
PS3
and ps1 for playing cds

Not necessarily related to audio but I'd put some pictures or something on the wall. Goes a long way in personalizing the space and makes it feel more "homey".

Got a great deal on a pair of used panamax surge protectors.

Moved the sub to the side of the sectional

And widened the front speakers

So far I think the sub is doing a better job there

Thanks. Yeah they're awesome. I would recommend them especially since they're so cheap.

So I have added a couple things to my set up. I replaced my receiver with a Sony STR-DN1030 which has changed everything for me. This is SO much better than the HTiB receiver I was using. the pioneer speakers sound noticeably better. I am very happy with the purchase. I also replaced the pioneer sub with a Klipsch SW-350. And what a difference that made. I tried using both subs together but I didn't notice any benefit at all. So i just keep the pioneer around just for symmetry for now.
