Looks great, congrats!

Have you ever tried the center speaker below the TV?

I have tried the center under the tv and I do like it there but I am trying to keep the speakers away from my young son.

The third subwoofer is the Wharfedale sw150 that matches my other speakers. (It is in the 3rd pic down)

The bracket is just a flat center speaker bracket with a door stop on top (the pic blurs them together)

Very handsome wood finish on those speakers. Particularly attractive on the subwoofer.

If you have kids, I would put the speaker grilles on.

I took them off just for the pic's or when people come over. Kids and speakers don't mix well lol!

So I really enjoy the Pioneer Elite BDP-62FD, it plays my digital movies from my nas and plays my blu-rays well. The only thing that I wish it had was a good zoom/aspect ratio for blu-rays I like watching movies 16:9 instead of 2:40. But over all seems to be a good replacement.

They sound great! When people come to the house to watch movies they say its better than going to the theater. I would say that the weakest link is the sub, the sub sounds great with music but for the window shaking movies its just OK but that is why I have the other 2 subs. In all honesty if I did not have all the years mixing PA sound systems, knowing how good 15 and 18 inch subs sound, then it probably would do the job but I want to feel the movies in my chest. That being said the tonality of the speakers are amazing! When a surround sound effect circles the room it sounds the same in all the speakers and even the small rear 9.0's have great punch and clarity.

Did some updates to my living room!
1. Moved the tv to the wall with the windows. I did this to remove the glare during sunny days (Fishing HDMI cables and running power was not much fun but it turned out nice)
2. I got a good deal on another Wharfedale sw150 sub so now I am running 4 10" subwoofers
3. Changed out the Whafedale 9.0 speakers to Wharfedale WH-2 Bi-pole surrounds. I did this to add some height and to widen the side sound stage.

You had made a great decision to relocate the TV set, so you can position the front speakers farer apart. Nice that you have a big room for so many people to watch movie at same time. You should seriously consider to add a +100 inches projection system. I high encourage you to do that. Your purchase of 70 inches TV is good decision after all.

Funny you mention a projector, I was just telling my wife that I thought we needed a 10" screen and a projector 8). We are looking for a new house and when we buy a new home we are going to be doing a dedicated theater room. I already have Wharfedale Emerald 97's and Emerald center speakers with Wharfedale Wh-2's for surrounds (We are using them in our bedroom now). I am looking into getting a new atmos receiver with 4 in ceiling speakers and will be making two diy 18' subwoofers (Probable Dayton Ultimate Subs and a 500 or 1000 watt amps). But I will have to wait till my house sells 8(.
