Hi,

I'm looking for options for a TV stand to place at the foot of the bed which conceals the TV with a height not to block view when looking from the bed towards the foot out the windows. I'd like the stand to be motorized to raise and lower the tv and accept space for speakers. I figure a 42" screen is appropriate for the approximately 6 foot distance.

Please suggest some good furniture options for this application.

Thanks.

-William

The only place I have seen one of these in person for sale was at a Nebraska Furniture Mart in Kansas City. Pretty cool actually.

Unfortunately, the under bed one does not pass the WAF test.

Check out Auton.com they have the hardware. Find a local cabinet/furniture maker to build something to match your bedroom set. Huge WAF.

I bought something at a local store, but it is more as an entertainment cabinet... Have seen the ones for beds before... nice. Check for I think it is called Sunrise Furnishings..

Do you remember approximate cost? How long ago did you see it there?

It was last summer. Don't remember the price specifically, but seems like it was in the $1,000 to $1,500 range, but can't remember.

You can also check out Nexus 21 which has the TV lift hardware and cabinets. Their specialty is hardware.

Interested in TV Lifts and new and different applications of them - in cars, boats, airplanes, backyard bars, anywhere cool and interesting.
