The Berkline 13175 recliners are available with manual or power recline regardless of the cover. It would depend on what stocking dealer choose to purchase. We purchase motorized recliners only because I personally feel that power recline is a MUST to have option. The chairs are available in fabric, bonded leather/vinyl combo and leather/vinyl combo. We choose to stock bonded leather/vinyl combo and leather/vinyl combo.

Thanks for the info Roman. When I called Theater Seat Store, the guy said it did NOT come that way. And I couldn't find anyone else carrying it like that. I now see that your site DOES have it. Guess I could have saved a few bucks.

Jeff,

IMHO saving a few bucks is not that important as long as you get what you wanted and are happy with your purchase and retailer's service.

Enjoy your chairs...

I have my own question. How close to the wall can Berklines be placed in order to recline fully? I cant seem to find the info i need on the Wallaway. Specifically the 13175 model.

Thanks.

soulcougher73,

You only need about 4-6" behind the chairs to allow for full recline.

Roman sounds like a great guy to deal with but I have a couple of questions. Does he take credit cards? If not, how does one pay and protect oneself? How does he ship? Do the delivery guys put the chairs in your designated room or just deliver to the curb? Any assembly required?

Roman has probably answered most of your questions on PM. Regarding delivery, the delivery guy asked if i wanted it dropped off by the front door or inside the front door. I just had him leave it in my garage. The chairs pretty much come in 2 pieces. The back and seat. So you can carry these in yourself once you get it out the box. You may need help carrying them in, but each piece by themselves fit through any standard door. Just saying it here cos i had the question about getting it through the door and it was a non-issue.

I just wanted to take a moment and thank Roman. He answered all of my questions and gave great advice. I purchased eight Berkline 12000's from him. He didn't have them in stock when I called, so I sent him a personal check for half the amount for a deposit. Another personal check was sent when they arrived about six weeks later. The chairs were shipped promptly and without any problems. I can't wait to get them in the theater. I can say without hesitation that if you need chairs, you need to talk to Roman. I missed out on a powerbuy but he quoted me a very reasonable price. Thanks again.

Just keep your eyes open. He seems to do power buys 3 to 4 times a year. If you are patient, just wait, if you need the seats now, give Roman a call. He is great to work with and will answer you questions quickly. His prices are great too, so you really can't go wrong with calling him today.

Totally agree, I missed the last Power Buy by just a few days and Roman offered a very fair price. He also spent time on the phone answering my dumb questions and let me in the warehouse to actually see and test sit the chairs that I was most interested in. All in all I'd say that you can't go wrong with Roman - outstanding service, suppport, and pricing!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

nikodog,

We do not stock manual recliners, but we do have them in leather/vinyl combo w/power recline. I can get them with manual recline in BLACK leather/vinyl combo as well...

I had originally wanted the 13175 chair with a manual recline but Roman said you really need to go with power recline. Bought three of the 13175 chairs in the leather/vinyl combo during the last power buy and I have to say I get compliments on the power recline feature all the time. It allows you to stop the chair in the exact position you're comfortable with. The leather/vinyl combo looks and feels nice and the wife and kids are really enjoying the seating.

Roman answered all of my questions and the price was much better than anything I could find locally, especially when you factor in the power recline.

Dittos on all the acolades to Roman @ Ultimate Home Entertainment, he patiently answered my bazillion questions over a number of weeks. I originally started to go with the 13175's, but after sitting in one locally I ended up with the 12003 due to the taller back and his recommendation. Extremely good pricing, even with shipping much better than anything locally, and once paid the chairs shipped immediately. Ordered Tuesday, should get them this Friday halfway across the country!

Thanks again Roman!

I should be getting my two rows of four next Monday.... At least that's when the shipping company set the delivery date.

Roman answered a whole bunch of questions (while out of the Country, I add) over a short period of time. I went with the 13175's because the headrest is bigger and more supportive.

Roman did everything a good businessman should do. Completely and responsively answer questions and help a person make his mind up on what will be the best choice. I would recommend him.

I await my chairs.... they will take up room in the garage, but should be put to use in less than two months.

Well, I must compliment Roman for his professional service. Not only did I get a great price on 13174's in bonded leather with power recline in a curved row, but when the warehouse made a slight shipping mistake (I really did give some thought to the one brown chair maybee working in the middle of the black ones haha) the mistake was fixed rather quickly and a new chair was swapped within days.
It doesnt get any better than that.

You have the following options:

1. Find a local retailer (you can search Berkline website for that) and see if they have anything in their store on the floor for you to try.
2. Search the forum and see what most people buy and rely on their oppinions.
3. Call a vendor you can trust and talk to him, and hopefully you would get an advise a recommendation.

Just bought a store demo set of 6 x Brunswick/Berkline power recliners for our home theater - trying to find tech info to repair wiring for the lighted cup holders and chair bottom lights. It seems the demo room never had the lights wired rightand the chairs were 'as-is'.

I was able to rework wiring on and basic connect the wire ends from the motors to the controllers to get all the recliners with wired remotes to work so now it is about finding the proper style wire plug ends and mating wire connectors (white plastic clips) so I can make a more permanent fix.

Any input on tech sites or schematics for cupholder wiring would be appreciated.

I am not sure how helpful it may be, but I have a Power Point file from Berkline that includes Instructions for Lighted cup holders and lighted base. If you want it, email me - sales@rtheaters.com, and I will send it to you.
