Hey all. I was about the order the Def. Tech Pro Mount 90's for my new Take Classic surround sound speakers. Anyone have experience with Def. Tech. mounts? For sale for $50 on amazon. I need a 1/4-20 thread insert for them, these seem like good mounts from what i'm reading.

Im using these for my Pro Monitor 1000s as heights above my screen. Ive had them up for about 3 months now and they work great. Wide range of possible angles. I bought mine at Magnolia/Best Buy and used a 10% off coupon. $50 seemed steep, but I couldnt find anything else that small that calimed to support 10 lbs.

Yeah the Take Classic satellites are only about 3 lbs. But others on Amazon seem cheap, ie plastic or seem like they would sag. I want something that won't slowly sag all the time!

I am also looking at these here. More of a bargain but people say works well with the Take Classic set.

I've been using them with PM 1000's for a couple years now and they've held strong.

Unfortunately I went with the Atlantic's. While they might get the job done, the threaded insert on the speakers has only one hole while the mount needs two... Also the keyhole option won't work with the provided screws... Awesome, guess I get what I paid for. Going to return them to amazon. Most likely going with stands instead, don't want to deal with hanging wires due to the impossibility to hide the wires in the wall.
