So I have had my Fusion Escapes now for a few weeks and wanted to post my review.
First off I want to say that Roman's customer service is as good as it gets. It took me a month to decide what I wanted and many emails back and forth to Roman. The responses are always fast. I am 6'3" 240 and really did not want to purchase 6 chairs without sitting in them. After reading all the post I took the plunge and order 6 fusion escapes in black leather, 3 with butt kickers and a bka-1000 amp. I decided to go with the escapes because of my size and all the features. I normally do not gamble with such a big purchase, but all the reviews seemed good. I was skeptical about wiring the money, but Roman was great and let me know that he received it, and then sent me tracking numbers for everything. I had the chairs in my house 5 days from the day I ordered them. I am in Houston, Texas. Below I posted pictured of the chairs.
They arrived on two pallets and I was able to tip the guy to place them in my garage. My first dilemma was whether I should go with leather combo or the bonded leather. I ended up going with the leather combo. The leather is very soft and high quality. The chairs arrive in two pieces and are put together in seconds. I placed the 3 chairs with butt kickers in the rear and the other 3 in the front.
The chairs are better then I imagined. If you are trying to decide which chairs to go with, go with the Escapes. Its is well worth the extra money. The seats are very comfortable and when fully reclined my feet do come to the end, but do not hang off. Most chairs I was always too tall for. The reclining is smooth. The headrest is worth its weight in gold. I would buy these chairs just for the headrest. My wife is 5'2" and she never uses the headrest, but being 6'3" I can adjust it to whatever position I am in. It’s like having a pillow behind your head. With the chairs fully reclined I am able to move the headrest up to the perfect position every time. The blue lights by the cup holder do not bother me at all as some others have complained about them. I actually like the lights. I love that they have a lock button to prevent you from changing the position by mistake. The drink cup coolers do work and get very cold, but they do make a little humming sound like a refrigerator. It's not that loud to bother you and it’s a neat feature to have. I agree with some of the other post about the tray tables. The quality isn’t really there, but I really like having them, then not.
Now for the butt kickers. This was a last minute decision. Roman installed 3 butt kickers in the rear chairs. Let me say I am now kicking myself for not getting 6 of them. Once you watch a movie with butt kickers it’s very hard to go back to nothing. Anyone on the fence about ordering butt kickers. Get them they are great. Adds a whole new dynamic to watching movies. I wired the 3 in a series using the bka-1000.
I hope this helps anyone who is looking for media chairs.
