We have liked that configuration the best so we have left it that way.

Thanks for the info!

So here is a dumb question... Do the chairs bolt to each other?

Mine did not. They just sit snugly up against each other. No problems here.

Not a dumb question because some do. These do not hook together. I have the Escapes.

They are heavy solid chairs and have not moved since I set them up.

Hmmm..well I guess that's why its easy to move the config around. I thought they would be bolted together also.

Have you experienced any gradual separation in the center of the loveseat where you have to push them back together occasionally?

I don't any seats ....yet. But I am leaning towards the Lagoon1011's. I need a narrow foot print for my 2 rows of 3 and those seem to "fit the bill". I was just wondering if they bolt together or what keeps them from sliding apart.

Nope. No problems with separation.

You do not physically attach chairs one to another. There is no need for that. The chairs are quite heavy and will not move while reclining especially if you put them on the carpet. When you placing the chairs on the hardwood floor or tile, you can get some rubber pads and place them under the chair feet, or use long wire ties and connect the frames together under the chairs. It is rarely done since in most cases the chairs are placed on the carpet.

I ordered a set of 4 straight escapes in bonded black from Roman. I thought it may take some time coming to western Canada, but the chairs arrived in one week, including the holiday weekend. When I checked the tracking info I found out they actually arrived in Calgary on the thursday before the holiday weekend, but couldn't be delivered until the tuesday after. The chairs actually spent more time in a shipping depot in Calgary than on the trip from NJ...

On to unpacking and first impressions - all the boxes were in good shape, and each chair and back is wrapped in a thin foam and plastic. No damage anywhere, and the bonded leather is quite nice. The material is soft but feels durable, and looks good too. A bit of a glue/new car smell which is now fading after a few days being setup. Attaching the backs was easy, and they feel rock solid - no wiggle or play in the backs whatsoever. Plugged them in and all is well. Before even sitting in them I am impressed and happy with them thus far.

I am just under 6', and these chairs seem to fit me perfectly. My feet just scrape the ground, and are well supported by the footrest. My wife (5'9") also loves the size of the chairs. Back support is good, and the power headrests truly make the chairs amazing.
I would consider them a medium firmness, as I have sat in much firmer and softer. Recline mech. is smooth and quiet. I wouldn't mind if they went back a little further, but I doubt I would really ever sit like that anyways.

As per instructions from my wife, they are currently set up in a center loveseat config. ie lOllOOlOl. The double armrest isn't an issue, and I can change them around quickly and easily when we have company. The lights don't bother either of us, and the cooling cup holders are a nice bonus. Like others have said, the snack tables aren't very robust, but they work.

Roman was great to do business with, very quick to reply and always helpful.

Overall I am quite satisfied, and look forward to many hours spent in them. For the price paid, even with shipping and duty to Canada, I can't imagine finding a better theater seat.

The chairs are moved back about a foot since I took the pics. Next up is (finally) painting the walls/ceiling, and finishing off the 4th sub (another dual opposed lms-r 15").

I'll post some hires pics later from the 'real' camera.

So this morning I placed an order with Roman on 4 Fusion Escapes in black bonded leather! Can't wait. Do the Cooling cupholders work well?

The cup holders will maintain your drink in a cool state longer but don't get super cold. They are a fan with a heat sink attached to the metal bottom side of the cup holder. The sound you will hear is from the fan spinning.
They will basically slow down you drink from warming up (depending on what kind of cup or glass it is in).

^ If Monday is your "scheduled date" you will more than likely not see them until Tuesday. The trucking company that delivered mine called "on" the scheduled date to setup delivery the following day. Reason being is they load their trucks overnight the night prior to delivery in most cases. Just a heads up thats all.

Being Power do you have to plug each one in or can you plug them into each other and just plug in the last one???

Thank you, I am surprised with the amount of folks that build sectionals that is the case. I am sure there is a reason behind it. So I am guessing everyone has to run a Power Strip under them?

The reason the chairs are not being daisy chained is because of the cost involved and UL certification. We are working in possibly doing so, but it turns out not to be as simple as one would like it to be. You can as you suggested use an extension cord with the powerstrip and drop it under one of the chairs. You will be able to plug all of the chairs there.

As Roman suggested a power strip is key but also keep in mind the chairs have rather long power cords which is quite convenient.

My Fusion Lagoon seats from Roman are out for delivery to me today. We won't have to sit on pillows anymore!
I haven't seen the product yet but I must say the buying experience with Roman has been exceptional. VERY responsive both before and after the sale. Highly recommend him as a supplier. Photos and impressions of the product to follow sometime this weekend on my Build Link below.

Well, unless I'm too busy watching a movie.

I think I'm going to go for the Fusion Lagoon 3 seater also.

ISF Calibrator

Pioneer Kuro Elite Pro-111FD
Pioneer Kuro BDP-320

Displays are like 100% cotton t-shirts. Always buy a size larger than you think you'll need, as they tend to shrink over time.

The Lagoons arrived today. Lugged them upstairs and assembled them. They are awesome. Watched Avitar with Crown and Coke + Popcorn. REALLY nice seats. I'm very pleased with the construction, comfort and cost. I don't think there could be a better value out there.

Can anyone comment on the comfort of the headrest in the Fusion Escapes? In particular, when sitting up-right.

When reclined, the motorized headrest seems like it would be ideal for propping your head up to see the screen a bit better... but what about when sitting up-right? My wife is rather short, 5'3, and since we cannot test these in person she is concerned with the headrest (at least form photos).

The headrest on the Escapes looks like they bulge out a bit even when they are in their furthest back position. As we would be buying unseen in person, we are curious if this causes your head to stick forward a little bit when not reclined, as that seems like it would be uncomfortable.

Wife and I went to BB yesterday. She come out of the Magnolia area and says... go sit in those HT seats in there. So I do. She says "Can you believe how awful those are?" LOL. Thanks for spoiling her Roman.
