So i go this mount for my HD20
I saw it everywhere, and seemed to have god reviews.

Sure it pivots from side to side easily, but the vertical adjustment is not clear.
It appears I am to just sort of force it to aim down and then it slowly raises back up.

I don't understand why more of these mounts dont just have 3 screws you can turn to raise and lower, adjust the tilt, and rotation. It would make more sense to just dial it in by turning a screw to adjust the 3 axis.

At any rate, can someone tell me if there is a way with this mount, I can put it at the angle I want it and then screw it in that position?

The whole "forcing it" it not going to fly

All you need to do is buy some washers and space them in where needed. I have the HD 33 and only have 2.5" from the top of the projector to the ceiling. I made my own mount so after I centered the projector to the screen I was able to use some washers to adjust the tilt and rotation. Just have to play around with it a bit. All you need to do is get it "close". If you are off by a lot then you do not want to be using 10 washers, then it will be flimsy. But 1-4 washers is fine. To make the final adjustments if you are off by an inch or two. I had a popcorn ceiling to deal with as well so it is far from flat and that's where the washers especially came in handy.
