This past week I ordered Palliser Rhumba chairs.
Can anyone who has bought Palliser tell me how long it was for them from order date to delivery?

You are typically looking at 6-8 weeks. You'll more than likely be looking at the full 8 weeks in this case because Palliser's factory has an annual shutdown at the beginning of July and no product ships during that shutdown. I believe the shutdown is from July 1 through the 10th. Great choice in chairs, by the way. The Rhumba is a very comfortable chair.

Sad to hear that it's the full 6-8 weeks. DW and I ordered a Palliser Flex sectional a month ago, so hopefully we'll get our sofa before the factory shutdown, but I'm hopeful it'll get delivered early.

I stand corrected: There is no factory shutdown in July this year because Palliser is so busy. Sorry about that, guys. I hope you get your orders when you expect them.

We got our sectional at the 6 week mark, so the factory is clearly humming along. The only problems were a squeak in one seat and one of the power recliners has a shake (don't know how else to describe it), so Palliser is sending somebody out to fix the squeak as soon as they manufacture the reclining mechanism (apparently they build to order). Apart from those two issues, I love the sectional and it's very comfortable.

Is this by going directly thru the manu or thru a vendor?

Well we ordered several of the Palliser Record style seats last week. Loaded them up with every option except the LED lighting. The wife didn't like the light up cupholders. They weren't removeable and harder to clean...smile.gif Ended up with the 100% leather in a grade 2000 in Classic Chestnut. Lets hope Palliser is as quick with our order as yours. Ordered from theaterseatstore.com. Peter Goldstein has been great to work with. Let's hope customer support is as good after the sale...smile.gif

Just a quick update on this post. We just got an email from theaterseatstore.com letting us know the order would be shipping this week for a mid August delivery. That is far shy of the 6-8 weeks quoted on the pre-order. Well done Palliser and theaterseatstore.com. We opted for white glove delivery so hopefully that experience will be a pleasant one as well. Six seats were ordered on July 20th.
