I am finishing up construction on a cherry wood entertainment center that will house a 65 inch flat screen, speakers, equipment, etc... The cabinetry will house speakers behind cabinet doors that have cut out openings. I would like to cover the speaker doors in good looking, well functioning black speaker cloth. Can you recommend to me what I should buy, where to purchase, and anyting else I should think of?

Also, I have three cabinet openings just above floor level that will hide dvr, dvd player, etc... I have considered covering the door cut out openings in glass, but is there anything else that would be better looking and function as well for remote controls? Is there speaker cloth that a would allow a remote control to be completely reliable? I am open to great ideas.

I am completely new at this, can't afford a mistake, need ideas that will both function and look great, and would love help on the latest design trends. Anything you can add is much appreciated!!! Thank you!!!
