Greetings All,
I purchased 4 home theater chairs, they each recline but have individual power cords. I would like to avoid having to connect them individually to the wall.

I think this should be simple, but would/could I just buy a few short extension cords,
to connect them to where only the last chair would actually be connected to the wall plug?

I was thinking something like this:

Just wondering how you all do this kind of arrangement... thanks!

JC

How long are the cords on the chairs?

Why not just run a single power-strip to hide under one chair and plug all 4 into that, worked fine for me.

You could get a black power strip (less visible) with a cord up to 15' long if needed.

and a six outlet unit will have a couple spares to plug in a tablet/laptop charger chord or a small adjustable task lamp...

I put one of these right behind my primary seat... $10

JANSJÖ LED work lamp IKEA Uses LEDs, which consumes up to 80% less energy and last 20 times longer than incandescent bulbs.

Here's a shot of my IKEA task light, (sitting at the back of my arm rest)

Pretty handy when you have a very dark cave and don't want to turn all the lights on in the middle of a movie
