Just got my brand new 5k plus Jaymar Recliner and in less than a week the middle seat stopped reclining The motor just died. Anyone else experience this crap?

Jaymar and Stargate Cinema acted quickly to replace the damaged motor and all is well. My faith has been restored.

I am glad your problem was resolved.

About two years ago I had a problem with the recliner mechanism in an almost new Jaymar making grinding noises.

Trying to get a new mechanism, which I would replace myself, proved to be so difficult and time consuming I finally gave up. It wasn't worth the aggravation.
