I have a new house that has the rear speakers wires running to ceiling boxes. I will be running bookshelf speakers attached to the ceiling.

I want a cover plate for the ceiling box with speaker binding posts, but have not found one yet.

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

Check out Leviton products.

Look here:

http://www.leviton.com/OA_HTML/SectionDisplay.jsp?section=39143&minisite=10251

These types of inserts along with the two-port cover plates can be found in your local big box store.

Thanks for the replies.

The ceiling box is round rather than the rectangular switch box those products are for.

I don't know of any premade round covers with speaker binding posts. It might be that you'll have to "roll your own".

Start with this:

http://www.lowes.com/pd_163859-223-CPC4WH_4294653953__?productId=3127885&Ns=p_product_qty_sales_dollar|1&pl=1&currentURL=%3FNs%3Dp_product_qty_sales_dollar%7C1&facetInfo=

Drill two appropriate spaced and sized holes and mount your choice of binding posts from here:

Unless you've got a punch or want to file the hole by hand, I'd use these: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=090-475 . The others on that page require 'D' shaped or holes with flat sides to keep them from rotating in their holes.
