Another hurdle crossed...............

Received my black leather seating today................ordered 11 days ago...............in the theater and installed.

Thanks to Stargate Cinema.........the customer service was exceptional!! When I order via phone, the person taking my order spelled my address wrong. When I received my invoice, I noticed the mistake, called the service department and they corrected the mistake and made sure that I received up to date information on my shipment.

Great follow-up and wonderful customer service..............very nice and knowledgeable folks to deal with.

Funny story, I PM'ed Ken Lerch, asking about specific details on a few chairs I was looking at........................I had already ordered the chairs on a Tuesday, and Ken answered the PM on Saturday. The information he gave me was assuring since I ordered what Ken recommended. He had no idea I had already ordered from Stargate Cinema nor if I had intentions to. He was just giving information on the seats I inquired about. In my opinion.........classy move!

The seats were well packed, easy to put together...........and solid as a rock.........no problems.

I highly recommend Stargate Cinema if you are thinking about theater seating......................................

11 days? Wish I had your luck! My chairs will be several weeks late IF they get delivered next week from Stargatecinema.

I was pretty bummed to not have the chairs for a large birthday party my wife threw for me last month. Not real fun showing off your new home theater to family and not having place to sit other than the floor or crappy camp chairs.

Sorry to hear that.............not to rub salt in the wound...........but I live on opposite sides of the Country. Chairs came from NC................I'm in Oregon. Don't know your specifics.................but my experience with Stargate was exceptional and I double checked by calling to make sure chairs were in stock or specific time for delivery was available.

I understand what you are going through........my Subs from JTR Speakers were suppose to arrive several weeks ago..............it might be until September before I get them. Can you imagine a theater with out SUBS!!! The horror.............the horror........................biggrin.gif

Fortunately Rhythmik came through with my sub! I'd rather sit on the floor than go subless. Haha!

What kills me is that I now live in NC and can walk into numerous stores and have similar Palliser chairs delivered that day. Ken said he would have me a tracking number last Friday but never did. I've heard nothing but good things about Stargate but I think posting all experiences with online vendors does us all a service. The more accurate data points the better.

I just emailed you with all of the same info (plus your actual tracking info) I am putting in this post. I didn't have the tracking info from our shipping person until Saturday morning. I actually took this weekend off (for the most part) to do some things with my family. So I apologize for the lack of communication there. I should have given you our shipping person's contact info so that you could communicate directly with her.

Please also remember that we installed the Buttkicker Advances for you (with our custom solid steel bracket) for free which took me longer than I wanted due to some staff being out of the office sick last week. I don't think the Buttkicker option was available locally. Again, this should have been communicated to you, so I apologize.

The good news is: your chairs are out for delivery to the White Glove terminal today. The WG company should be calling to setup the appointment for delivery today or tomorrow.

Per the notes in your order, I estimated delivery of the chairs on 7/22. They will be under two weeks later than promised and about 5 weeks total. I'm sorry we missed your birthday party. I hate when we miss deadlines.

I think you're going to really like the chairs, especially with the Buttkickers installed.

Ken has showed some good hustle in the fourth quarter getting my chairs to me. Once he realized that it's all about me and my immediate needs, things started to go smoother smile.gif

Just a quick update on my chairs for anyone interested: I'm more than impressed with them. Fit and finish on the Pallisers is better than it has to be at their price point.

Stargate Cinema was in contact with me personally several times during the final delivery to my house.

Chairs were professionally delivered and everything worked right out of the box.

They may have been somewhat delayed but the quality of the units and excellent ButtKicker mounting plates makes up for it in my mind.

Consider me satisfied. I will probably end up ordering another set of them in the very near future from Stargate Cinema.

I received 4 palliser pacificos from stargate on tuesday but unfortunately the center chairs were broken. So I'm waiting on replacements. Little disappointed I havent been notified if the replacements have shipped out yet. Other than that they have been pretty easy to work with.

I am passing along my experience with stargate. I ordered 6 Pacifico seats on 8/20. I was told 5 weeks for seats to arrive at stargate. I am also doing white glove.

I got a call last week letting me know seats are delayed and will be another couple weeks. Stargate offered me extended warranty for my trouble.

Stargate has been ok to deal with other than the delay, but I am obviously not happy about delay since I can't enjoy my new home theater.

Hopefully my seats will get here soon.

Just giving a heads up on my purchase of Row One Front Row seating I purchased from Stargate Cinema. It has been almost 6 months since my seating was placed in theater. Seating has seen lots of activity and shows no sign of wear.

Everyone who visits comments on how comfortable the seats are. Recline mechanism has been flawless and material still looks like new.

Very happy with purchase and am amazed how value and reliability go hand in hand.

Row One seating is definitely worth taking a look at.......ie. value, cost and reliability.

Stargate Cinema wont even call us back

I can not get the owner of Stargate Ken to contact me. We purchased 1600$ worth of theater seating from him 5 MONTHS ago and now he wont return our calls or anything. I am glad you guys had such great luck and actually I purchased the two seats because I had already purchased 1 and we loved it however now I am out alot of money and never got my chairs. Not sure if they are out of buisness or what????
