I'd like to have LED lights behind the those Polk Monitor 70's there in the pic. I'm stuck in this basement so let's liven things up a bit. Too damn depressing down here. What's the best way to go about this? Just the speakers for now. Maybe TV later.

Thinking it'd be nice to have them both running off one remote. This is what I'm thinking;

Then this to split

Then this to stretch the length between speaker? Hu? Maybe? What do you think?

Will I need 4 pin connectors once I cut the light strip?

The splitter finally came in from China. I taped the strips to the back of the speaker but a couple hours later one fell down. Not surprised. I'm not sure what the best way to fasten them to the speaker cabinet is. Perhaps a few dabs of hot glue? I don't want to be hammering in nails for those plastic fasteners if I don't have to.

I immediately wanted to add lights to the back of the TV. I think I have enough light strip left over to do it. I'll need cords to make the 90 degree turns. Do they make a 3 cable extender? One strand for each speaker and one going up to the TV is what I need. Then the short connectors for the angles. That should do it.

Looks great! I have some green LED's around my game room TV and have cool white lights behind my main TV.

So far my LED's are still up but when they fall I'll probably use 3M tape. I have some that holds up to 10lbs, should be more than enough.
