Movie Usher Doll,Cutout,Standee

Hi,
I've seen in a few theatre builds, replica movie ushers dressed in the traditional red outfits. Anyone have any DIY ideas or retail for that matter 2-4 ft tall. Just to sit in the lobby by the stairwell.

Thanks,
Brian

This is Bonnie, the Usherette. She stands just 6' tall and posed behind my ticket booth.

Her pose was perfect for holding movie tickets for visitors to my theater.

She loves special movie events for Halloween and Christmas.

I just did a Google search for mannequins and found the one that had the pose I needed.
Mine was $100 and bought locally. I would recommend buying something local so you can
get a better idea of what you want. The outfit was easy - just search for Usher or Bell Hop
(both costumes look very similar) Halloween costumes.

Good luck!

Thanks Colton

Thanks for the reply Colton, found one for 100 bucks, got the halloween usher costume and a cheap pair of shoes. Looks great, although I get startled by it at night when I walk by....I'll adjust eventually though lol. Gave him a haircut and put his arms down and he creeps out the females a little less.

The whole mannequin thing creeps me out a bit too, though in a "I like a chill as much as the next guy" kinda thing. Must have been those Wax Museums my folks took me to way too young.

See ya. Dave
