Custom Center Channel Speaker stand

Hello,

I am in the process of designing and building a custom center channel stand to blend in with the cedar tongue and groove wall we have redesigned the walls with.

I'm curious as if there is a rule of thumb as to how high the stand should be and whether or not the center channel speaker should be tilted back when sitting on the stand?

Listening space will be about 12 - 14 ft. from the display.

For reference, my Left and Right front speakers stand 41" tall

Thanks

The center channel speaker should be tilted back
if it is mounted below the TV. Tweeters should be aimed toward
the listening area (towards the ears).

like above, tilt it towards the listener. usually means tilted down if above the screen, and tilted up if underneath the screen. recommended height would be as close to the screen center as possible. I've always preferred mine to sit on top of the screen, but if your screen is a little higher than ideal, then under would probably be the better choice. ideally, the fronts and center should be around the same height as well. but I've always tried to match my front speakers to the center speaker, not the other way around.
