I inquired early yesterday, my gf and I decided to finally get a tester to see if we want to expand later on. We were looking into the Hamilton Loveseat, do those come with a portable armrest and do they match?

We would've ordered the Devonshires but the look of the armrest with the loveseat configuration is not the same as an all black version.

We have black leather portable armrest, it's optional accessory. It matches all our black leather HT design seats including Hamilton.

Ah I see, I thought it might be included with the loveseat config.

The description for the portable rest said it matches designs with the Devonshire, SouthHampton, and Somerset so I wanted to double check.

Thanks for bringing to my attention the current description, I just updated the description on our site.

Alaska problems... Got the call today from American Fast Freight to deliver the Pembrokes, but we are going to hold off until Friday. I've got about 2-3 more inches of ice to melt off the driveway before I'll risk having him make an attempt to get up it. They lived up to their name though, that was quick getting these chairs all the way up to Alaska. These were shipped after my screen, but arrived earlier. The screen should be here on Thursday, so I've got a busy weekend ahead of me.

I'm considering getting the Warwick row of 3 in the future, but I have a question for owners or @HTmarket . Do the multiple seat configs come packaged by individual seats (i.e. must assemble/connect the row of 3 after unboxing)?

Yes, individual seats. You put the backs on, line them up, & plug them in. They also offer a delivery service option that does this all for you.

Once you've attached the back, how difficult is it to remove it?

There is a latch and the chairs ship with instructions on how to release the latch. Just set up some HTmarket chairs Sunday.

Looks like some of the guys already answer this one, one box per seat, and backs are attached in room.

Is there a general advantage for buying 2 chairs at once vs 4?

I figure if I can order 1 loveseat pair now and another in a couple weeks I can create a setup as follows:

|O|OO|O|

Is my thinking correct?

It costs more for a freight company to come to your house twice vs once. It may not be coming directly out of your pocket at the time, but when delivery is built into the cost, the added cost eventually gets passed down to the customers.

In other words, if everyone had these delivered one or two at a time, eventually the price of the seats would have to increase.

Mike makes a good point about cost, of course we will honor our free shipping policy anyway. I would think it would be better anyway to get all your seats at once versus 2 deliveries as you only have to meet up with shipping carrier once. It will also come down to stock levels you should call our toll free line and find out our inventory situation on the seats you want. That may come in to play on ordering a split shipment or all at once.

Regards,
Alan

That makes sense, it was more of an idea of how to figure out the settings of how we want to couches to be since I can't visualize at all, but if it's at an expense to you and potentially others I can wait until I gather enough to order 4.

Today I grabbed some 3 inch felt pads normally used to put on the bottom of furniture legs to protect flooring.

Instead I dropped them in the cup holder inserts which not only absorbs condensation but gives just enough of a "lift" so that my favorite Tervis mug no longer pulls the insert out with it.

Plus they don't alter the cup holder lighting.

You can get light or dark colored. I got mine at Menard's but any hardware store should sell these.

They have adhesive backs but I don't use that. I just drop them in and they fit like they were made for the inserts.

Great idea Mike. Simple, cheap, and effective. I actually don't use the cup holders very often. I opt to use the tray tables most the time, but I'll definitely pick these up anyways.

In addition to freight costs, there are material lots that may not match.

Received my curved row of 3 Hamiltons last week and finally set them up last night. They are replacing 11 year old Berklines that I've been happy with. The Hamiltons are on another level as far as build quality and comfort. They look great in my HT. The Hamiltons are very comfortable with lots of back and head support. I used a little pillow on my Berklines but don't need it on the Hamiltons. The cushion places my head at a perfect position for watching my screen. I'm a pretty big guy at a solid haha 260lbs and these chairs seem to be able to handle much more.
The led lights when turned on are bright but they can be turned off with a push of a button. The cup holder lights for the buttons don't distract as I know they bother some. The leather appears very nice and the seat is attractive. My wife loves them. Very happy with our purchase and hope we get 10 plus years out of them. The leather sqeeks some but not too bothersome. Overall a great buy.
Forgot to mention the storage space. The space is huge and one could place a lot of remotes, iPads, or whatever in these. The USB is also by the cup holder which is a convenient location.

With the HT Design chairs the material will match as we use a analine dyed leather. therefore it will match.

Thanks I would love to see some photos. To get rid of any squeaking use Paraffin wax, you can find in hardware store or on amazon. It will get rid of any noise.

All seats got wiped down with Lexol on the leather and 303 on the vinyl last night. Don't want to ever see a single crack in these babies.

That should work fine but you will probably need to replace the hard feet.
