Building my first riser.

I just bought a home with a media room. The sellers are leaving the suround sound and projector. The room is 14'x19'. Unfortunately the projector is mounted on the side of the room where the door is. So it gives me about 10.5' of width for the riser. Anyways this is my first riser build for a media room. Any tips or plans for a riser would be appreciated.

Use glue, use screws, and insulate it to remove the "hollow" sound.

Thanks! On insulation, is it better to use spray foam or fiberglass?

Agree, loose fiberglass packing is your best choice.
