AV rack

I have a recessed area where wiring comes out for the home heater I am making. I am looking for an AV rack that can go in there. I want one that can slide out to allow easy access to wiring. Also, prefer one that has an open area up top (not closeD) as I have a fan installed up there. I will be putting a receiver, some type of kodi device, ps4, eventually want to make a computer that can lay horizontal to put in there.

The area is 20.5W x 46L x 22.5 depth

attached is a picture of the recessed area

Check these two racks from Middle Atlantic: Model SRS2-19 slide out rail rack or the Model ASR-42 slide out rotating rack.

The ASR-42 is something like what I am looking for but wow is it expensive. I am not sure I can justify paying $1800.

Anyone tried DIY? These racks are so expensive. Think Home Depot or Lowes have stuff to make myself?

I made my own rack. I basically built a box, and attached rack rails to the sides. Then finished it off with door casing. I ended up using a rack mounted fan instead of the fan you see on the box.

You can also see that I built a small door on the back to access the wiring, but all the equipment slides in from the front.

For the actual rack rails. I attached these to the sides of the box Reliable Hardware Company RH-20-SRR-A 20U Full Hole 20 Space Rack Rail Pair https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JJ18OVS..._gy7XzbBZGZDH8

Your pics didn't work. Does it slide? Mine must be able to slide out if you saw the above pictures. How much time and cost was this?
