Roman,

You said this with regard to a question I asked in an earlier thread. I asked if you could take the arms off of the chairs...

You used the qualifier "easily" I can take car engines apart and put them back together so I'm pretty good with tools. I just need to know if this is feasible.

I just measured my room. I have an old house and the issue is whether or not I can get the chairs through the doorway. One doorway is 29 and 7/8 inches wide. The other is an inch less.

I'm looking at getting four chairs. The two in the middle would be staight armed. The two on the ends would be wedges. If I can't get the wedges off, I can't get those into the room. So, I'm just wondering how hard it is to get the arms off (nondestructively) if that is my only option.

If I can't do it, then I can always move.

Thanks!

Perry,

If you need to take the arms off and then put them back on - yes it can be done - it is not a rocket science. The original reply was in context of just getting rid of the armrest or adding one. This cannot be done easily because you would need to replace the metal frame bar, which the armrest seats on. You would need to use either a shorter or a longer bar instead.

But, to make your life easier - you do not need to do anything at all. The backs are off when the chairs arrive. You can turn the chairs sidewise and bring them into small openings that are even 27-28" wide. The armrest height is about 24". This becomes the width when you turn the chair sidewise.

Roman,
I'm sure you stay pretty busy during these powerbuys, but could you just let me know if you received my e-mail on sunday (regarding a quote)? Take as long as you need to process the quote, I just didn't want to bombard you with repeat e-mails.
Thanks,
Bluesboyjr

Roman,
Before I request a price quote, it would be good to know what a particular recliner costs (for example, the C53 or 87) in each of the different style groups.

I realize that the size of the chair has a lot to do with the different prices, but it is hard to tell how expensive each style is just based on stock photos! Is the lowerest style number 073 the least expensive? Is the 45012 the most expensive?

Thanks

LarryDi,

As it says on the Power Buy page: "Every order is a custom one, so it will be treated in this regard. Prices will be quoted per request."

The reason for that is that there are two many variables:
1. Style group
2. Number of chairs
3. Cover
4. Shipping cost based on your location and number of chairs.

Also, your decision which style group to get should not be only based on the price. Consider which chair will fit you and your room better.

If you have any questions regarding the seats/prices send me an email or call me.

Those interested in purchasing seats on this PowerBuy, I give Roman 5 out of 5 stars. I bought mine from him last year just before Christmas. My family and I could not be more pleased with our purchase. For the record I bought two rows of three Berkline 088's.

Roman --I have a few quick questions/recommendations. I live in a pretty rural area and cant find a store within 100 miles that have the chairs to test out. I am looking to do a powerbuy of 2 recliners and a love seat in the middle (seating for 4) I am going to put buttkickers in each seat. I would love to have them in a semi-circle style and they will be in an 18' wide room. I want very comfy black leather. There are soooo many types of berklines that I get confused wehn trying to pick a set-up. Could you recommend a # style for the configuration stated above -

thanks --andy

Andy,

There are too many variable which need to be considered/discussed. Why don't you call me at (732) 617-2348 or email me (sales@rtheaters.com) with your phone number. This way I can get a better understanding of what your needs are and recommend one or two style groups for you.

For those how are interested - I just got a sample throw blanket from Berkline. It is huge - about 4'x5' if not bigger. Extremely soft and beautiful (see attached picture).

Roman I love you to death, and though they may be as soft as kitten fuzz I gotta call you out on the "beautiful" classification(shudder).
