Canadian OLED deals

Found great deals in Canada. 6500.00 CAD powerbuy for 65", and around 3400 CAD for the 55" 9300.

Haven't found anything better. There will be very limited quantities for the initial few shipments which are expected around the 3rd week of August.

So excited to get my 4K OLED!, just wish we had 4k bluray already.

Great deal Conan48!

As these are likely coming from South Korea they may have to enter Canada in Vancouver....hmmm I wonder what shipping is to Victoria, or heck I would pick up in Vancouver!? I there any way to inquire without a commit to buy?

Thanks!

This dealer I use doesn't want his info given out across the internet. If someone is interested they can PM me for more details.

It's not like it's just a Best Buy, or Futureshop link I could post for everyone.

Exciting to hear there will be multiple options for purchasing 4k OLEDs in North America soon. Any idea if Canadian dealers can ship to the US or if TVs have to purchased and picked up there? Shipping costs / customs issues could be enough to negate the benefits of a foreign purchase...

If your in the US, just buy from Cleveland Plasma for preorder price of 6250. Definitely won't be worth the hassle of importing it.

That's an excellent post because one can use that to match prices with BB for example. If it is a negotiated and not posted deal, nobody else can benefit from it.

Please everyone keep up posting this type of deals!

Dropped in at GE again after work to pick up some camera gear, in store advertised price is now $3000 for the 55ec9300 and they have a price sign for the 65ec9700 at $7000, the 65 inch wasn't on display but he said it should come in a couple of weeks.

That store is dimly lit, so the demo picture looked really good and with that price I almost caved.

It's a shame that their website quotes a higher price...

They dropped their website price just recently to $3300

Also Gibbys is advertising the 55ea9700 for $3000, with BB or FS PM's could be lower

Thumbs down LG Will not sell 65ec9700 in Canada

LG customer service just told me due to quality issues all retail orders in the system have been cancelled.

You of course mean 'at this time'... supply is short and if the are having yield issues it would be best to wait anyway.

Sounded like the model will be unavailable for an extended period. Retailers have been told sometime in 2015.

Ahhh, you had me worried with the earlier post as I read: 'not for sale in Canada... period!'

This sounds like a delay due to supply, which we already knew existed.
