The major OLED sellers on ebay have just drop their prices another 300 dollars. ielectrica is at 2568 for 65 and 1699 for 55. I think i am going to pull the trigger.
I didn't see their store front, as it is a strip warehouse. They may have been on the other side of the building, as I didn't drive around the whole building. I guess they are in there somewhere and drop shipping their products. They are also on Seminole land, so they may be getting tax breaks or something.
If someone in this thread has bought from them with no issues, then I say go ahead.
I mean you will definitely get the TV and it will be new. They are not an authorized re-seller but from what I have heard if you have a receipt of purchase and need to warranty it LG will honor it from pretty much anywhere. Probably wouldn't hurt to add on an additional squaretrade warranty as well.
do you guys suspect a $2k retail price for the 55" b and c in November? that's my buy price, then i can price match to one of those scam sites for $500 back....I realize CP and others are already under 2k, but I'd prefer to pay a little more to have the option of a swap at best buy or Amazon if there are panel issues...
A lot of folks are saying that OLEDs usually don't go on sale for black friday. I think the cheapest they were sold for was $2300 from Amazon/Best Buy a few weeks ago. I kinda doubt they'll reach as low as $2000, but you may get lucky this year. I think there is real incentive for OLED to come down in price, because the Samsung KS8000 and Vizio P-Series are really great alternatives at much cheaper prices.
I have a Vizio P-Series and it's great for games and movies. I'm just ready to experience OLED (better blacks and viewing angles) so I bought a 55C6P that should arrive on Monday. Price was way below $2000 and I intend to price match also.
