No interest in this game I guess. It looked and sounded good to me today but how many times do we have to see the Penguins on NBC?

Max of 4.

Good PQ, AQ was good, but the rears could have used a boost. Missed having Wendel mix the game.

It's time to give props to WLNS for the HD crawl generator!!!

Now we need WHTV to go HD and Lansing's CW to get a separate transmitter so it isn't a digital sub.

Was anyone else seeing frequent switches between HD and SD? It was a hard enough game to watch (for me), but then switching to SD and back again made it especially tough.

I also noticed a lot of 2-3 frame dropouts. It wasn't enough to make my audio glitch but the video drop was obvious. I think WCAU in Phila. is STILL trying to figure out this new-fangled HD thing.

Must have been an issue with your local NBC channel, I watched via WILX OTA in Lansing, MI and didn't notice any drops.

The sound was fantastic, on one goal the Penguins scored (going from left to right), I could hear a fraction of a second difference between the people on the right seeing the goal and then the rest of the arena's cheering spreading throughout the stadium. Very well done!

PQ and AQ were great with TWC in Syracuse. I didn't experience any problems at all. I understand that NBC wants to promote the game with as many 'Crosby' showings as possible, but a little variety would be nice. The last 2 times NBC Sunday game Crosby didn't even play.

OT: If Philly keeps this up, they may not even make the playoffs. For the first time last week on my NHL package they had an Ovechkam channel. One channel had the Caps game shown as normal and another channel had the camera following Ovechkin at all times. It was kinda cool, but got boring real quick. I ended up putting the Ovechkam channel on in PiP. Anyone else have this?
