It's pretty obvious to me she's alive. The plastic wasn't tightly wrapped around her, let alone her face, so breathing under very lightly pile dirt shouldn't be a problem for the short amount of time she'll need.

I also am certain that she knows Tony is in it with Jack (for better or worse), which means she'll probably be the one going to the President directly (since no one else can be trusted thanks to the FBI mole). Henceforth, Jack, Tony, et al end up in the White House at some point explaining away what they did/are doing and why. I haven't seen that preview, but supposedly someone did.

I liked the episode. Especially concerning the Prime Minister and his wife in the safe room. He was willing to die and let his wife die for his country. She wasn't. Safe to say that relationship is probably over now.

10-1 Bill goes out of the office soon to tear it up 'against' Tony and Jack's crew. Bill needs to go back into the field so that he can be the 'one of these people won't make it past the next hour' options. Everyone likes Bill. Everyone LOVED President David Palmer, and looked what happened to him!

Good stuff.

This season is far more entertaining so far than last season was.

I wanted to credit Jeannine G. with being a good sport for participating in this series, given its sometimes overt theses are anathema to her very vocal views; however, she's stinking it up with her performance.

And what's the deal with her upper lip?! It looks deformed. I used to think she was somewhat cute, in a quirky kind of way, but now, yuck!

I think Garafalo is excellent.

That "Oh." comment was hilarious. Her character is obviously someone in way over her head and she was trying to play down her surprise.

Yeah, she's been fine. She's done everything this underwritten role requires of her; when she's had meatier roles, she's delivered meatier performances. That she's not top-shelf eye-candy means her part is even more believable. Supermodels don't usually work as eggheaded technical analysts. The opposition to her here by some is more for who she is and what she says than who she plays. Alec Baldwin gets much the same treatment from the same people. It's become tiresome.

I would dare to say, I might fall into that categoryof loathing her personally. To her credit, I think she's performing fine in the role-- as you described.

I know I pretty much loved Chuck Heston in every role he ever played. His politics, especially that nutty NRA stuff, not so much. But that never made me diss him in a role, or not watch Planet of the Apes or Ben Hur when they show up on the schedule. Nobody, but nobody could chew scenery like the Chuckster!

Especially in Soylent Green

Then Schwarzneegerenegger shows up on the scene much later, and ends up with the role that Chuck was reeeaallly after. "I'll see you 2 Kennedys and raise you a Reagen"

Yeah, that whole part I'm still scratching my head over. I just keep wondering there has got to be some schtick, angle, or publicity stunt behind this. If she can hold down the role, more power to her, though!

She's the lesser Chloe. Maybe there will be a payoff and Chloe and her go face to face instead of computer to computer.

As I pointed out, I wanted to give her credit for being a good sport by participating in "24." My negative reaction to her performance is based on what I'm seeing and hearing from her on "24." If it is the writers' fault or the directors' fault, then they deserve blame. Regardless, her performance is distractingly bad on this series, even though she's performed well in prior roles.

The fact that she presents herself as such a horrible person in real life is not part of the observations about her performance as an actress.

My guess is her "angle" is she's a working actress, she could play the part, and this is a paying job. Any gig is a good gig in this climate, seems to me.

I'm saving you all from instant blindness and brain damage as the beauty you would behold upon seeing my image would destroy all your previous conceptualizations of what the term "beauty" even means, true beauty is a concept mere mortals have yet to even begin to understand.

Even though you couldn't have found a worse picture for Garofolo to compare with...I gotta say...putting Garfield into that Chloe outfit just wouldn't work. Chloe in that Chloe outfit is bangin' though! It makes her 'standup' comedy almost tolerable

Edgar was great! I loved it when he showed up as a forger on CSI:NY a couple of weeks ago.
