I just notice this week that KBCW in San Francisco has started airing Syndicated version of the Simpson in HD.

don't see 16:9 anywhere... I see 1080p (which means nothing since its on bluray....)

and that doesnt make sense... again - they started production before the episodes that aired last season... if they went 16:9 in this - they wouldn't go back to 4:3 for the following season. It has nothing to do with when they thought it would come out.
Told you trap was 16x9.

After Sunday's episode this show NEEDS to die. Same for American dad too... Oh, why am I watching this in the first place... ? I'm REALLY BORED and have it recorded apparently.

I'm guessing you are talking about FG? This week was a dud, but I thought this season has been pretty funny. The boxing episode was the best one recently imo.

The Street Fighter scene alone made the last episode of Family Guy worth watching. I never expect much from the show, so one or two good moments is fine by me.

'Family Guy' & 'The Cleveland Show' Renewed By Fox

By Bill Gorman

- May 9, 2011

Fox has renewed Family Guy for a tenth season, and has renewed The Cleveland Show for a fourth season.

The Cleveland Show is currently in its second season, and it had already been renewed for a third, so the renewals keep both on Fox through the 2012-13 season.

The annual 'Treehouse of Horrors' installment of The Simpsons scored a 4.0 adults 18-49 rating up 33% from its last original, but even that wasn't enough cover for newcomer Allen Gregory which debuted with a 2.4 adults 18-49 rating following The Simpsons. Predictions were too high in the 'guess the ratings' poll with ~60% predicting better than a 2.5. Family Guy dropped 9% from its last original to 3.2 adults 18-49 rating. At 9:30, The Cleveland Show drew a 2.3 adults 18-49 rating.

Start the countdown to Allen Gregory gets the axe. It's one of the worst animated shows I've ever seen.

It was pretty bad. I'll try a couple more episodes but that was rough.

We always give 3 episodes before removing from DVR. Secret Circle just got removed off ours. It was never going to be anything other than whining kids. (with magic powers, not to improve humanity or help just wanted to open lockers and mess with others.)

I wouldn't have DVRed or watched at all... but because I record so much on Sunday night, and it is between two shows I do want to watch... I probably will keep recording it.

Yeah baby!  It's Halloween!

The Griffins Meet the Simpsons in an Epic 'Family Guy' Episode Airing Next Fall on FOX

Categories: Network TV Press Releases

Written By Amanda Kondolojy

July 18th, 2013

via press release:

DOUBLE-D’OH!

THE GRIFFINS MEET THE Simpsons

IN AN EPIC “Family Guy” EPISODE

AIRING NEXT FALL ON FOX

Guest Voices from THE Simpsons include Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith and Hank Azaria

Episode Set to Air Fall 2014

In a sure-to-be-classic episode of Family Guy, two of the most iconic and revered families on television will come together when the Griffins end up in Springfield and meet the Simpsons. The Family Guy episode will air in Fall 2014 on FOX.

“FOX hasn’t spent this much money since they took Simon Cowell tight T-shirt shopping,” said Family Guy’s Peter Griffin.

“Finally I can get my hands on this guy!,” added Homer Simpson.

In “The Simpsons Guy” episode of Family Guy, Peter (Seth MacFarlane) and the Griffins get out of dodge and end up in Springfield, where they are greeted by a friendly stranger named Homer Simpson (guest voice Dan Castellaneta), who welcomes his new “albino” friends with open arms. The families get along famously: Stewie (MacFarlane) becomes obsessed with Bart (guest voice Nancy Cartwright) and his old-fashioned pranks; Lisa (guest voice Yeardley Smith) takes Meg (Mila Kunis) under her wing and is determined to find something – anything – at which she excels; Marge (guest voice Julie Kavner) and Lois (Alex Borstein) ditch housework for a little bonding; and Peter and Homer fight over the best beer in town – Pawtucket vs Duff.
