This is the last season right?

It feels like they have plot points they have mapped out, but they are writing each show just after the last one has finished.

The opening to last nights episode was one of the funniest things Ive ever seen on this show with Eric and his human admirer when he told her he was diseased and she said "Well I am too!" and the jumping and sliding on the coffin. Too funny.

only redeeming quality of last night was Jessica's nude scene with Jason, even if it was only from the side. At least we got a breast shot!

What's horrible is that this show is so awful and boring and yet I'm still watching it because its the last season. There has to be a payoff somewhere. The writers must be stoned or something writing this dreck. I must be in a stupor watching this crap. We deserve each other!! They're diseased and so am I.

Jerry. Just remember. Its not a lie . . . if you believe it. GC

Oh, I dunno. There were a couple of satiric things about this week's episode I found quite enjoyable.

I'm not sure that was actually Deborah Ann Woll making it with Jason. Could have been a body double as we didn't really see her face. True Blood's Jessica has been almost Jessica Alba-like in her aversion to on-screen nudity.

I can't remember why the Japanese gang was after Sarah. Anybody remember?

Yeah I don't get it, the Yakuza and Eric both wanted Sarah dead and she's known for creating the vamp hep?

When the Japanese guys cornered Eric and Pam in '86, they were working with the Authority and wanted to make true blood. Now they're humans and coming to the US and killing bigwigs in the Texas GOP?

They were after Sarah and they knew her parents would be there. Aside from security guys, I think Sarah's parents were the only ones they killed. The late Governor created Vamp-hep, with Sarah's help, if I recall. They're not vampires, or Eric wouldn't have been able to waste 'em. So why were they gunning for Sarah? I'm still not putting that whole story together as to why they're after her.

Because they need a bad guy. The herp vamps are all dead, except now every vamp we know.

They were after the guru, for whatever reason, and they knew she was with him? Maybe they want to destroy her because she ruined(partly) their true blood empire.

I don't know what it is, but I'm liking this year. It went so far off the tracks so long ago, that I quit worrying about it and it seems like they spent a couple of years with just uninteresting story lines, like most here( I assume), I've watched it since the beginning and I gotta finish it off. It seems a lot more fun this year, I laugh and just seem to enjoy it, we've got a lot of action, good to see Pam and Eric together again and it seems like good chemistry between all of the cast.

The guru was just collateral damage. Your second statement is correct. So, Eric and Yakusa actually want the same thing ... now. Unfortunately, there's bad-blood because of the Yakusa killing Eric's human before his banishment to "Fangtasia"-video in the '80's ...

All clear now?

Well, that was probably the best episode of the season so far.

First half of the season felt like a waste of time. Too bad I had to sit through that to get to the good bit.

I also really liked this episode. I was fairly glued to the tv pretty much the whole way through. One thing I do like about this final season is that it actually feels like the end is near.

Man, Bill really got screwed over by Sookie here. I guess that's her crazy fairy blood making the virus advance in him the way it does. Hopefully Sarah being the antidote doesn't turn out to be the deus ex machina it seems like it could be.

I hope Sarah doesn't save everyone. She gets killed and all the vamps die off.

Funny you should feel that way. This episode was all about wasting time. In every storyline, the characters just sit around waiting for something to happen. Pam and Eric wait for the sunrise, Sookie waits for her test results, Bill waits to see the lawyer, Sarah waits for her sister to wake up, etc.

The only notable thing that actually happens in the episode is the reveal that Sarah drank the antidote. That takes up all of, what, a minute of screen time?

Regardless of the waiting, there was a lot more enjoyable things happening than anything else in this season to date.

I laughed quite a bit with all the scenes including Andy.

The end of Violet's relationship, and her grabbing the fairy was a pretty big event.

Bill's super hep-v.

Tara's trippy message and the pastor's marriage break.

Sam and his girl are splitting up, or not. She's kind of a "who cares" character.

The evil herp vamps could have been killed off in the first couple episodes, leaving time to do ANYTHING else. I hated the evil herp vamp storyline.
