Great start to the season. (Although I bet I'm not the only person to occasionally turn on the sub titles to understand some of the dialogue.)

Great opening episode, was wondering why the guide said it would end at 11:13p.. It was for 13 more minutes of action. Thought the funeral scene was the end, didn't expect the rest of the action but with SOA, expect the unexpected.. Men of Mayhem as the patch says..

I agree. It wasn't 'slow' necessarily, but the ramp up at the end was VERY interesting! I was REALLY surprised with what happened and to whom. Disappointed for sure considering the consequences of the scene because I really enjoyed that character. Heck of a way to keep the show fresh for sure. Reminds me of 'The Shield' always keeping you on your toes. No one was safe there, nor here. Excellent television.

Interesting/surprising that Tig a club official ( Sgt Of Arms ) doesn't have a full back tat of club colors like other members ( including some non-officials ) .

Good point Harley. I was thinking the same thing. Maybe an oversight by the producers?

Wondered about that myself, maybe to keep his head above ground? Although it didn't look like it was going anywhere anyways.

your wondering about a tat and not the fact that he was just shot in the back with a rifle and acted as though nothing happened?

I have no idea. I re watched that scene a few times and couldn't see the tie downs move or the guy's head react to the bike's running over them. The last thing you would do is run over that guy's head with your bike at high speed. You would damage your wheel, rim, front end and you might lay the bike down. .

The hole looked too big to be a .22, but hey, it's TV and these are supposed to be tough guys, so what a gunshot wound here and there?

Agreed. But Tig did sound half stoned initially, so maybe he was in shock, hence the 'lack' of visible pain. Then again...Tig has sounded half stoned a number of times, so it's hard to tell

I finally caught up with the first two seasons, since it took forever to get a hold of season 2 on BR.

So let me make sure I'm up to date here--- Season 3 is only into the second episode so far, right? And that aired Tuesday and is repeated a couple of times this week. (I have that set up on my DVR.)

Is there anyway to see season 3's first episode?

This show totally blows me away. I compare it to The Shield and The Sopranos as overall greatness. (I still haven't seen the Wire yet, so...) I didn't jump in from the beginning since I din't have a clue. Thanks to AVS and all the fans here talking it upI'm in!

Thanks Remy, I did see that link on their site. I might just do that even though it kills me. But I do want to get up to speed so I guess this is my only choice right now, unless I wait a few weeks for Hulu to show them. I wish I had FX On Demand with my provider, FIOS.

Also available via Amazon for $1.99 or $2.99 for the HD version, iTunes may also have it but I didn't look there, I hate the format of the iTunes store so I rarely go there.
