Link to Charters thread on AVS .. as well as a couple of quotes from the thread (not mine) .. Charter delayed the HD feed .. don't see how that's difficult to understand ..

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/archi...5958-p-10.html

I've been hoping to catch "Lights Out" 1st episode, however, it looks like it's delayed similar to "Son's of Anarchy" was ..

FX HD was just released. As the delay always seemed Random on when it got a new episode, and I am pretty sure that sometimes it never got every episode so I was still stuck watching the SD version from time to time.

The people on that link are referring to FX on Demand, not the regular broadcast FX-HD station. Hence why we were not sure what you were talking about.

Just watched the Sons of Anarchy Season 3 Recap and was reminded just how deliciously satisfying it was to see the nasty and profoundly dishonest Agent Stahl get her just deserts. I will miss the wonderful Ally Waker as Stahl but, in the event, it was worth it.

Excellent in S2, a decided mixed bag in S3 (started slow, kept meandering, finished great). You'll find out why.

Just finished watching the entire 3 seasons this summer. Liked season 1, loved season 2, and season 3 was one of the worst shows I've ever watched. My god it went to hell so fast. I hope season 4 is a return to form. The worst part about it is that I had to pay to watch season 3. Ugh. Bunch of baby junk and a silver, James Cameron Terminator camera filter attempting to pose southern cali as Ireland. Please please please season 4 get back to being a good show.

As I said in the Rescue Me thread (another show I watched all of during this past summer), I do love FX Network. Hoping Netflix adds Justified to instant watch at some point soon.

great opening episode, reminded me of the Godfather baptism scene where Michael settles all paybacks.. While the wedding celebration was going on, bodies were piling up!!.I think the new sheriff was in "Prison Break" if I'm not mistaken. Don't think I'll be moving into those new homes/co-ops in Charming..

I agree. The systematic and simultaneous disposal of the crews who had betrayed SAMCRO reminded me of what ruthless stone killers the Sons, including Jax, really are. What the hell, though, it's nothing personal, just business.

Ray McKinnon, an extremely talented writer and director/producer. Roles like this one usually fund his indie movie projects. Check him out, well worth it.

That's right. The name of the actor who plays the AUSA is Ray McKinnon. Dayton Callie, who plays Wayne Unser, is also a Deadwood alum. He played Wild Bill Hickock's dear friend, Charlie Utter.

OT: gwsat, since I know you're a big fan of Deadwood, there's a new Bluray release of a 1965 Brit film called "The Pleasure Girls" starring a 23-yr-old Ian McShane. Took me a couple of minutes to recognize him (not to mention, in 90 min, he didn't say one f@&k). The film is "mod" England at it's best, and for those of us old enough to have gone through that era (not saying you are, but I certainly am), it's a lot if fun.

Back to SOA: when Piney walked by Tara at one point, he gave her an admonition of some kind. Didn't quite get it. Was it about Teller's book and to leave it be?

Great setup for the season. Didn't see the revenge coming, but SOA likes to deflect and then hit you when you least expect it. Poor Otto. I sure hope before the series is over he gets his just do from Samcro. Talk about taking it for the team yet again by slashing his wrist to get into the infirmary. The scalpel in the ear had me squirming in my chair big time.

Anyone else see the resemblance between the new AUSA guy and John Teller? Could be something to watch for.

I forgot to set up this series on my DVR (switch cable companies). So I missed the premiere, but there was another method so I was able to watch. I will watch the new episode on the big screen next week.

FX is one of those networks that repeats episodes several times a week. No reason to see it via less than honorable ways.

Let's see. I pay (well) for my cable service, which includes the FX channel. If I were to miss an episode (or it failed to record) and decided to obtain it in what may not be an FX "sanctioned" way (are those lines far enough apart?), I would do so, and do so without hesitation or reservation.

"Less than honorable" - spare me.

Good call there. I was thinking along those lines when I saw him riding a Triumph motorcycle and sporting the cafe-racer styling. Would be a little too neat/easy to make that jump, but a cool intro none-the-less.

Glad to see another 'Shield' alum joining the cast. At least his face doesn't have the grille marks on it here

I gotta ask a couple things in general:

%-chance that Jax actually gets 'out' with his (soon-to-be) wife and family in tact?

Is anyone going to be MASSIVELY disappointed if they play Clay's exit to the tune of arthritic hands? Seriously? How about the multiple unsanctioned murders of fellow club members, namely a co-founding member, from the past? That would be much more worthy.

Irregardless...this and 'Justified' are my two favorite shows. Can't wait to see where this year goes!

I've never seen a show pimp its gear more than SOA does. T-Shirts, sweatshirts, hats, etc etc. It's like Jackson is a runway model for shop.fxnetworks.com. Loved how all the beers everyone was drinking in the season premier were remarkably always pointed label-side out. I guess you do what you gotta do to pay the bills.

The Apache Wedding Prayer...or whatever it was called..I thought that was very good.

Anyone done a search to see if it's real? Sounded legit for sure. From a quick google, it's the real deal, maybe not so much just Apache...

Since they all sprayed the Russians with bullets, (including the uc Fed cop), they would all qualify for the needle if they got caught, right?
