Er uh, not, uh, not that intriguing. Great gross out scary start then it took a detour when Agent "I Love You!" got infected. He'd only been on the screen for about 15 minutes and I already didn't like him so he could have turned into a blob of goo for all I cared. I guess we were supposed to like him because the pretty agent did except I didn't care about her either. Oh, wasn't she supposed to be finding out about the killer disease before more people die? Of course not. The survival of Agent "He Loves Me!" is more important.
Then, what, an hour of talking and talking and talking with some annoying prick that calls women "honey" and "sweetheart" like he's Humphrey Bogart and an over-the-top insane quirky genius because on television shows geniuses are all crazy because we sane people are too dumb to understand them. Naturally he goes perfectly sane and smart once the plot demands it.
I gave up on it once they started the Vulcan mind meld. Ugh! Too bad Lance Reddick is being typecast into law enforcement roles after so many great years on the Wire.
