While binge viewing Robin Williams' movies on Netflix I just couldn't resist and continued the binge with Breaking Bad... at least I saw 2 seasons..

Agreed. Sooooo many show runners should take note of how Vince Gilligan did Breaking Bad. Sitcoms, cop dramas etc can run until they die, but a dramatic story like Breaking Bad needs needs to have a beginning, middle, and end roughly plotted out right at the start. 3-5 seasons is plenty. Make the story follow an arc, get a good grasp on the pacing.
Too many shows try to milk it until you lose all respect for them.
Lost and Battlestar Galactica could have been better at this.
