I noticed today that "Legend of the Seeker season 2" is listed as "Streaming coming soon" on Netflix!

http://www.netflix.com/Movie/Legend_...0&trkid=222336

I wonder if they are going to put it on Netflix streaming the day after it airs, just like they do Heroes? The HD video quality of this show on Netflix is really very good.

Shoot, I thought this was a 2 hour premiere but I just saw it is actually last season's finale followed by the premiere episode. Bummer, oh well, glad its back.

If you get to see the 2hr version, it is not a normal movie edit of two episodes. The first part, last season's finale, has the closing credits on top of the programming. No billboards and studio logos. It then goes into commercial and returns to the season premiere.

After I get all of the pieces edited, I'm going to do a quick check to see if there is extra footage in either of the episodes by comparing them to the standalone 1hr versions.

Awesome premiere. Not a fan of the huge departure from the book, but overall, an excellent episode. The season is shaping up nicely.

I like the way it picked up. Pretty much right after the end of season 1. Charisma Carpenter was a bonus on the hottie meter also.

I think Charisma was way down on the hottie meter in this one. She is not in the league of Cara or Kahlan IMO.

In a way I like the depature from the book as Kahlan and Richard (the actors) have such good chemistry and I enjoy seeing them together with all those looks and smiles and underwrapped sexual energy between them.

The book, Stone of Tears, was way too much Kahlan, Richard and Zed away from each other and the story bouncing back and forth although the second half of that 1000 page novel was very exciting.

For those in the S.F. Bay Area without access to WGN HD or Ch. 36 HD, Ch. 2 (KTVU) is showing the HD version Sunday nights at midnight. Also, the episode was the same as the Saturday weekend run.

Last year Ch. 2 had no HD and the episodes were delayed a week.

I really enjoyed the premiere. I'm starting to watch the series as a distinct story, the characters may be the same, but I'm happy to see where they take it while still following the same grand story arc.

The first episode of Legend of the Seeker Season 2 is available now on Netflix for streaming in 720p HD! It looks like they are putting the episodes up on Netflix in HD the week after they air on TV.

http://www.netflix.com/WiMovie/Legen...0&trkid=438381

They have 6 episodes listed, but obviously only the first one is available to stream.

^^^ Cara (and all the conversion of all the Mord Sith) is in the books, so this is actually a rare case of them actually following the books rather than copying other TV shows.

I think this may be a case of why fix what is working?

We are only 2 episodes in but I like the way the new season has started, it has pretty much hit the ground running. This is still IMHO one of the best looking shows on the air. Just wish they didn't cover up Bridget Regan's freckles so much.

Too bad the first season wasn't released on Blu-ray in 1080p.

The 1080i MPEG-2 video @ 35 Mbps looks great, so H.264 1080p would look even better.

I'm surprised this didn't get the blu ray treatment, like you said, Mr. Video, it would look great.

Me and the son are enjoying this season as much as last (esp. with the addition of Cara, mmm), but it sure is funny how Zed can save their ass at the last minute of their attack on the prison, but just stands there when the undead Dharrans come back to the prison later (in a nice tight bunch ripe for a fireball).

It's kind of a joke between us that Zed is always nerfed until they have no other way to bail out the Seeker, probably because he's just too uber-powerful for the story.

Its not only 1 of the best looking show...but IMO 1 of the most enjoyable also. I m enjoying this season as much as last....& it appears that the Seeker popularity is rising......which this show deserve

Anybody else having audio issues with ep2 on Netflix stream?

I get nothing but white noise on both my PC and Xbox.

Every other Netflix stream is fine just this specific one as an audio problem.

This weekend's episode started 13 minutes late (luckily I pad an hour). And it was not broadcast here in Boston in HD.

I'm enjoying the show this season, last season was ok, but some eps seemed kinda blah, but so far I've enjoyed all the shows this year. I like the Cara character, I haven't read the books, so have no idea how long she'll be around or if the books even matter, but she's been a solid addition this year(IMO).
