Should be interesting to see what changes NFL Network has in store for us this year. The use of still photography into the broadcast was very interesting last year.

Will this game be available in HD locally? Any ideas if NFL Network is required to share this feed with the local network?

Yes, the HD feed is available to the locals.

(whether or not they are capable of actually broadcasting it is another story.... one would hope so at this point - just about all have done so in the last year or so)

Last year the NFL Network PQ was outstanding. I plan on invading a friend's house who actually pays for the channel.

edit: DD5.1 eh? Last year was 2.0 right?

I'm pumped for this year's games on NFLN now that Kermit The Gumble is gone!!

PQ was excellent last year and graphics were kept to a minimum.

i'm ready... papa is a HUGE upgrade over gumbel, and i fully expect the good pq and minimal graphics to continue... and the 5.1 can't help but be an improvement over last year's aq...

might even be a good game... quinn can't get an easier defense to start against... my grandmother could move the ball against the broncos...

I live in columbus ohio, and we are not part of the primary or secondary market of the cleveland browns, but we do receive a cleveland news station(no clue why) on time warner (WUAB), and in the guide says its going to be showing the game. Will this be blacked out in my area?

Forgot about the audio being 2.0 last year, I will edit the first post and then update it again when the broadcast come on.

If you can get the station, you should be able to get the game (unless your cable system has some sort of deal set up to stop that from happening....)

Amen to that brother - talk about wrong guy for the job.
Gumby - go back to fake BS shows. That's what you do best.

Looking forward to the first Tnight on NFL

PQ looks very good, except for the CableCam.

CableCam looks horrible.

Anyone watching NFL Network HD on Fios? I'm in Burlington, MA and the audio has been cutting in/out stuttering like crazy. Its practically unwatchable.

I don't notice this problem on the SD channel.

Wow, not even 2.0 DD.....pitiful in this day and age.
It sounds like I'm in a bathroom.

PQ is good though, but so what with this sound.

Well, there going to nothing but get bigger, and I imagine they have noone telling them they need to make it better.
I too am starting to very much dislike NFLN.
If they think they can charge us to watch games in a few years, while providing this type of poor audio they are crazy!

PQ looks excellent via E*

A little bit of pixelation on backgrounds during fast motion but the lack of obnoxious graphics (are you listening ESPN?) is great.

I'm watching on FIOS in Irving, TX and I'm experiencing lots of pixilation and my audio is cutting in and out.

Anyone else?

Gotta be a FIOS thing. I'm here in Germantown, MD and it's pretty bad. Like others have said, good PQ (almost up there w/ CBS) but weak audio and worse pixelation and sound cutout.

I think FIOS has had issues rolling out to their full 100+ channel lineup. Intially FXHD was doing this, now it's NFLN.

Man, the close-ups on D* are almost stunning!
If they would give us DD5.1 with no dropouts they'd win the Fans Choice award in a landslide.(though I haven't had any audio drops...just stereo sound )
