I am not sure what is going on. I see nothing in the Dish menu or even online at TV Guides channel listings. They both show some treehouse show. But yet I do see and even have the first one ready to watch from the on demand menu.
The Animal Planet website only lists (1) episode for watching, but it's 84-minutes long vs the normal length of 42-minutes.
Whale Wars Facebook page says "The new Whale Wars 3 hour special event starts now!"
I've deleted from the DVR although they might be in the DVR's "recycle bin"....
I just scanned through the Season 6/Episode 1 from Animal Planet's website and it is not what I had recorded. Plus, they clearly were (3) separate episodes, with different titles. I wonder if they were season 5 episodes that I never caught...
As info I have Uverse and it caught all 3 episodes. It also caught the 2 minute teaser a couple of weeks ago. And the single 1 or 2 hour episode last year.
The last 10 minutes was the result of the courts findings. They stated what the Japanese were doing was not for research. Everyone rejoiced. Paul Watson said he thinks they will still try to hunt whales again next year, which started December 2014. At the very end of the episode there was text where Japan said they would abide by the rulings.
On my DVR, the episodes are labeled season 7, episodes 1, 2, and 3
The Devil's Den
Fight to the Death
The Darkest Hour
Now the Animal Planet website only has short videos, no full-length episodes available (or even a listing). Wikipedia just lists (1) episode for season 6 (a single, 2-hour episode). That has to be the 90-minute one that was one the AP website a few days ago...
Well Friday has come and gone, didn't see a new episode. They showed that tree house show. I still don't see any new episodes listed. The Devils Den is the only one in the on demand menu, already watched that.
