These "couples" episodes always seem to be the funniest. Although there wasn't much suspense in this one...

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
When both of "power couple" contestants walked across the big balls as if they weren't even an obstacle, everyone else instantly became 100:1 long shots.

As much as I love this show, I'm getting tired of a couple of things:

A) Contestants that are there simply to jump start their acting/modeling careers. If you're going to make an appearance, respect the big balls and actually run the darn course like you mean it.

B) Shoot the darn thing somewhere that Jill doesn't have to wear a freakin' down coat.

I have never understood the decision to have Jill wear a jacket. Maybe it's something she requested but it looks odd. I know they probably shot it in teh winter, but it's in California not Siberia.

I sure missed seeing Jill's uber-attractive belly last night ....

Great, great stuff. Some of the best wipeouts we've ever seen.

The new obstacles preview showed some truly brutal hits. Looks to be a fantastic season!

The PQ of this show seems to just get better and better as well.

Pretty sure it is shot throughout the spring/summer, not long before airing. If you've been watching it, you'll have noticed that they don't stop for rain or wait for nice weather. And she doesn't wear a coat for the whole season. 60 deg with wind, water splashing, and maybe some rain...I might even unroll my long sleeves. Most women are going to be in a coat.

This "season" was shot last fall/winter (November) in 2009. There was a death on the show as well which was widely reported (due to a medical condition and not the course). That is about a 6-9 month delay per season.

Watching now. The new obstacle course is funny as hell, but I fail to see what the point is if they make it virtually impossible for anyone to successfully negotiate?

XBOX Live: Wagmman
PSN: Wagg
BFBC2: Wagman
Steam: Wag

My Second Life character looks and acts exactly like me except he can fly.

The point is right in the name of the show . . . "Wipeout" The show isn't about successfully navigating the course, it's in the spectacular wipeouts along the way!

^ Yeah, geez people... It's a bit obvious. What kills me is people get and love stuff like Takashi Castle, but go and bash this show as a ripoff while not getting it. It almost makes me feel like there's a bit of racism like if it's not Asian's then it's not funny.

Anyway, stupid Time zone... I've watched Wipeout blind date so much I stopped counting and I think I'm wearing out the file. I hope work goes insanely fast because the min. I get home it's gonna be party time!

So... It was kinda a sucky episode, but I've officially made it "party" night and the alcohol made it better. It's kinda hard to live up to Wipeout Blind date. I have faith the next episodes will deliver though. lol

Jill looked extra Hawt though.

The best part (and the funniest) of the show is the first round, the qualifier. It show people at their nuttiest. They think they're "all that..." and breeze through the courses on their way to the $50K, and the course proves they are so NOT.

The last course, the Wipeout Zone, is when it gets real serious because those last four are actually going for the money. Check out the cowboy last night? Wow, did he ever blaze that final course - in under 4 minutes!

By the way, nice dress on Jill. Anybody got a screen capture?

They're going to blow-up a bunch of people's knees with that flipper wall. It's pretty much impossible to avoid getting whacked by that thing while you have all your weight planted on one foot.

And the entry to the final wipeout zone is the most boring that I can recall.
