Not a bad episode, but tonight was yet another example that Poehler's character is just a female Michael Scott.

And of course, as always, Aziz Ansari has the best lines like the gay cowboy line and reference to another bar, "Pitchers & Catchers."

I enjoyed the show. It looks like they are expanding the cast which is good. The show could use more subplots so the whole show does not rest on one character.

We watched the show last night but aside from some individual moments, it felt like an SNL skit that loses itself after a few minutes and then goes on for what seems an eternity. Amy Pohler is always good but the snarky character that she plays need better lines. If you saw her in Hamlet II as the ACLU attorney, you know what I mean.

I thought last night was better then any episode last season. Not saying it was good, but I have a little bit of hope that this season might see the show trend in the right direction.

Got sick of last season, gave this first ep a try, but no deal. Taking it off my DVR now. So sick of the whole moronic looking-into-the-camera shtick now. The Indian dude is hilarious, but he's the only bright spot in an otherwise mediocre show.

I thought this second episode was pretty funny, better than Community that followed it. I hope it stays around as I can see it improving as the season goes along.

I think that last nights episode was the best ever. Finally one that I found to be truly funny. The Ron Swanson hernia stuff was hilarious.

Probably everybody who finds the show objectionable has stopped even following the threads, but last night's episode was particularly funny. The show seems to have re-evaluated a lot of things since last year and moving in a different sort of direction, with lots more character development of the rest of the cast, and lots less about urban development of the pit.

It's one show I really look forward to.

I DVR the Thrusday night NBC line-up, well except for "30 Rock" and I'll re-evaluate this again this Season, and P&R was the first one I watched early this AM and I don't give a flying **** what anyone else thinks this show is flat out funny!

I actually enjoyed this episode. Rashida Jones as the bad date was very amusing. And the embarrasing tidbit competition was cute. Would love to know how the intern ended up riding a lawnmower through Nordstroms. Definately need to see more of her character.

Was thinking that we had a continuity glitch with Tom. Last week they had him giving copies of his house key to any attractive woman he meets. This week we find out he's married. But then it is revealed to be a fake marriage, so I guess they don't live together.

This week we find out he's married.

They actually revealed that last season. My reaction then was "why is he on the make when he has such a hot wife?" much as was Ron's rating decision. Now all is revealed.

Glad Amy is allowing the center of attention to shift towards others. She has always been a little ham, but has always allowed others to shine as well. It can only help the show.

Seems like some folks have issues with Amy, but I think she's great. I also think this cast is great and the addition of Louis CK (Leslie's date) only sweetens the pot.

I don't particularly have any issues with Amy. For me, she's like Micheal Scott in the office I prefere to see her character in shorter, funnier bits and see more of the fantastic supporting cast getting their chance to shine. When the balance goes too far to Amy's character, it isn't as funny.

I thought the last episode was hilarious. I loved the dirt digging game. The series seems to have really hits its stride with this full cast. The running joke with the congressman's press conference was outstanding.

Last season I thought this show was awful, but I started watching again when the new season started and now I love it. I like Community too, but I think this show is better. And Aziz Ansari is freakin' hilarious.

With the visit from the sister city following the last gossip episode this has been the funniest back to back weeks this show has had. The jokes were flying so fast it was hard to hear the next one while recovering from the laughs. Tom's quick turn from insult to glad handing was great. Plus, it was cool to see him give the money back at the end.

I loved Andy's homemade neck brace consisting of an inflatable wrap around the neck travel pillow and some duct tape. Hooray the pit is now a lot!

Haven't watched the new one yet, but did catch the Sister City ep on my DVR and laughed the whole show. Fred Armisen is great. Still not in love with the show's idiotic insistence on copying The Office's stupid looking-into-the-camera schtick.

NBC renews "Parks and Recreation" (along with "Community" and "Mercy") for the rest of the season: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...0#post17408720.

Two really good episodes in a row. And as long as the removal of the pit doesn't mean less Rashida, I'm fine with it. She's so naturally beautiful. I wish they'd break away from The Office mannerisms (got old on The Office years ago). Amy needs to be more than just a female Michael Scott.

So no one watched the "Ron and Tammy" ep? I've been waiting for a Ron-centric ep and that delivered big time!

I did last night. It was pretty good. This show to me is funnier than Community and this episode was another prime example of that. A lot of LOL moments.

This season has consistently been better than The Office. Impressive given how bad their 6 ep run last season was.
