yea, i normally don't watch previews
that one made no sense, horrible in fact
this is the one show where anyone can die

and the poster who felt the need to "spoil" Coopers condition is equally horrible (i know previews are fair game but really?)

I did not like TNT disclosing that Cooper had a bandage on. It ruined the suspense to the whole scheme. I thought he could have died

Lydia has to get a hold of herself. She should admit to her partner, and take time-off to handle the baby situation. We still don't know the father of the baby? I forgot if she came clean to her mother. She should absolutely tell her mother about the situation.

Ben and Sammy
I have to admit, I was on Ben's side. I thought Sammy planted the crack pipe. Just because of Sammy's past history with gang members and 'shady' decisions.

I was just thinking about Sammy's wife Tammi. We haven't seen her (or heard about) this whole season. Somebody, I want to say gwsat, wanted her to be out of the picture. Who ever it was got their choice
Maybe it was a couple members ha
She was always bringing drama and bad decisions into Sammy's life.

Still loving this show. One of my favorites.

Same here, quality, intelligently written and performed TV, something you don't find a lot of on the major nets anymore.

You were right that I detested the Tammi character and right again that I rejoiced when she was gone. I don't know that I was the only viewer who thought so but I may have expressed my dissatisfaction more ardently than most.

Like you, I continue to love Southland as does my college student grandson. I save the episodes I record on my TiVo until he visits me and has an opportunity to see them. Along with Justified, I think Southland is the best thing on TV right now.

I still think there's a chance that Sammy put the other guy up to telling Ben that they left the crack pipe in the car.

Yep, I was thinking that too. Like others have stated, this is one of the, if not best show on TV right now.

I haven't been liking this fourth season of "Southland" as much as the previous three. That can change. Retuning Sammy from detective to police officer was a way to accommodate a changing cast: of the original eight series regulars, from its premiere in 2009, just four remain: Shawn Hatosy (Sammy), Michael Cudlitz (John), Regina King (Lydia) and Ben McKenzie (Ben). I hope it gets better. Cudlitz's storyline has been the best so far, with getting Lucy Liu as his new screen partner.

Lydia is still keeping it a secret. Even when her superior asked her what's going on. Everybody knows, or thinks about it.

Sammy and Ben. Seems like the closing words to Sammy really meant something. How Ben told him his apologizes were coming to an end, to cherish the moment. I like it better when they get a long.

Officer Tang!
We found out some of her private life tonight, as she is getting a divorce.
Her bad day really threw her off.

Cooper, at the end, was strong. I thought he was actually buying drugs. I'm so glad he did not fall through the cracks again.

Good episode.

I thought I was the only one who felt this way. So much so I was hesitant to post it. I find this season very disappointing. I miss the personal stories that gave these guys depth. It's turning into "Cops."

seems that season 4 has lost something that the other seasons had
too much details about feelings ( touchy & feelie YUK) I guess ? & no plot arcs that were stressful like other seasons . Plus there is no real bad Cop .

I'm proud of Cooper's decisions to call his sponsor. He's doing a good job.

Lydia's mother knows about the baby now.

Ben!
He might have been out of line on that one

How about Officer Tang having the "meeting" and interview during the same time period. Talk about stressful.

Good episode.

We're getting caught up and this was the last episode we've seen so far. I was watching an episode of Bering Sea Gold on Discovery and one fellow was knocked overboard by a steel cable that broke free. There was a camera man right there and he held on the the wrist of the fellow who was dangling over the side in the rather "chilly" water, but he sure as hell didn't put down that camera to render real assistance with both hands

I've loved the show ever since it replaced ER on NBC. Hard to believe there are only two episodes left in this short "season."

Hopefully there's a new episode tonight. It being Spring Break and all.

Maybe dad will post "What's on TV tonight" in the HoTP thread.

Can't wait for tonight!

Where to start.

I'm glad that Lydia told her partner she is pregnant. About time!
So now Lydia has told her mother and partner. All she needs to do is "come clean" with her boss.

Those stabbings were hardcore. That gang member could have killed her (and the baby) if she wasn't wearing that vest. Actually, one of the stabbings went through the vest I think. She was bleeding at the doctor's office.

I love the coalition between Sammy and Ben. Officer Sherman is taking stuff a little too personal these days. I wonder why we did not see any "back lash" from Ben taking down that pimp. I thought he would be in trouble.
The shootout between the pimp and the black & white was a little silly. I can't see a real life police shootout like that happening

Officer Tang. She got promoted but has a little lie behind the scenes. I wonder if that will come out during next week's season finale. I watched the previews for next week and John definitely has something to say about it.

We still have not seen Sammy's ex-wife, Tammi this season. Or for that matter, Nate's wife and child. I vaguely remember that Sammy was helping the family out. Maybe Nate's wife and child moved away from LA?

Good episode, I wonder what type of closure we will get for the season finale next week. This season was too short for such a good show

Do you think he was shot, or just banged up from the car wreck?
To me, it seemed like the car wreck.
