CBS has temporarily replaced TLLS with repeats of The Talk. What a slap in the face until March. Good news is that JRT is going to appear on a future episode with Drew Carey hosting in March, having just filmed it last week. Craig just launched a website, a new Tweety tour account, a Youtube page, and a FB page. http://www.thecraigfergusonshow.com

Now in NE Tucson, AZ with a cheap rabbit ears antenna. Got everything except KTTU (MyNetwork).

The Talk only filled in last week. It's guest hosts for the rest of the time until March. Jim Gaffigan is hosting this week's shows.

I see he'll be "in my region" on 2/8.

I'm assuming those are actors playing guest host Jim Gaffigan's family. Either way, lame effort. Drew Carey was doing a pretty decent job of filling in until the new guy arrives.

No, it was really them, and his partnership with his wife is long-standing and well-known.

I found it painful to watch, and bailed halfway through the first night.

That was actually a surprisingly entertaining first show for Corden thanks to Tom Hanks and the opening Leno training school sketch. It was different enough that it didn't hit any dead air spots.

Of course there was no monologue so it remains to be seen if he can pull that off. He was really nervous when it was just him in front of the camera and he was overcompensating with continuous modesty and gratitude.

The couch seems like a direct lift from Graham Norton's show and the guest walk-on so close to the audience just looks awkward and uncomfortable. Corden's got an annoying laugh too. His interview was okay though.

Corden needs a new thread, but I'm not going to watch regularly enough to bother making one.

It was ok. Sadly, I wanna like his show but I don't feel the need to watch it at all. I hope he's able to stick around for a little while at least.

I was more impressed than I guessed. A good start and I rather liked the guests interacting.

Quite funny second night too. His monologue is going for an actual monologue and not just the usual quick topical one-liners. He flubbed the ending but the rest was okay. Better than Fallon and Meyers when they started.

Reminds me even more of The Graham Norton Show now though. The sketch was okay but you could tell it was rehearsed, which contradicted the earlier promise of Pine and Arquette being handed scripts they had supposedly never seen before. They should have done it live.

I watched the secoind show. It was refreshing. A new spin on the late night format, similar to the Graham Norton Show. He'll hopefully lose the nervous giggles over time. Fallon was really jittery and silly at the beginning and Meyers was completely out of this element since he didn't have a desk to hide behind for the monologues.
