I don't watch metalocalypse... (or however you spell it)... but Aqua Teen, Squidbillies and some others have had some 13 episode seasons.

I thought Robot Chicken did around 20 (but I could be mistaken).

A new season of ATHF starts tomorrow night/Monday morning at midnight. It should be continuing the show's HD run that began last season.

The last new episode of American Dad on Adult Swim unfortunately did not air in HD, only stretched letterbox, but there is another chance this Friday, at 11:30PM when the next new episode of the series airs.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood starts on 2/14 at midnight. It should hopefully be in HD (Adult Swim's first ongoing anime series to be as such).

Looking forward to Fullmetal Alchemist (the new/updated version) next weekend.

Also, thank you for posting about ATHF... I hadn't checked tomorrow night (had Superbowl on the brain) so I might have missed the new episode tomorrow night as I wasn't expecting it.

In case you miss an episode or two, Funimation is streaming FMA: Brotherhood as well, though they're only offering subtitled versions. They have episodes 1-42 currently available.

AdultSwim.com has the streaming rights to Brotherhood, so the dub will be available on their site http://video.adultswim.com/

Adult Swim is finally going to show the final season of King of the Hill including the 4 unaired episodes Mondays at 10:30 and 2:30.

I hope they air them in HD as KOTH looked great that way.

I think the old season starts airing one year to the day since the stunning HD premier on Fox.

Actually, they're not airing the final 4 episode. They only picked up 13 of the last 17 episodes, so we're still not going to see them unless something changes (the ad says 13).

Anyone watch the KOTH episode at 10:30 tonight?

They are now showing the final season. They are also calling it a nver before seen episiode when it has aired in past on FOX and Adult Swim last year.

I saw the new HD opening (might also look diff for SD but I never watched new FOX episodes from feb 2009 on in SD so I have no idea) made from the February on episodes last year but it seemed the show tonight overall was in stretch o vision?

I could be wrong though but did anyone else watch this last night?

It could have been shown in stretchovision. I remember when one of the "HD" episodes came up in syndication on the local FOX station, it was a regular 4:3 episode like the ones originated in SD.

It is stretched. FOX must not be providing HD copies since the same thing happened to American Dad when it had its last new episode on Adult Swim (maybe that changes with this week's, but I doubt it).

Sadly... Fullmetal Alchemist was stretched last night, so it gave the illusion of a 2.35:1 when it really should have been 16x9 widescreen.

So, not actual HD

Really sad. I end up watching the SD version to get a non-distorted picture.

You'd think they could at least upscale the letterbox version retaining the correct ratio.

Has anyone noticed for the past couple of weeks Cartoon Network/Adult Swim now distorts all non-HD programs even on the SD channel.

Was watching Naruto Uncut on the SD channel because it's 4:3 the HD distorts it. But now the SD channel shows everything 16:9 letterbox so the 4:3 image is stretched to fill that on the SD channel.

They now have lost me as a viewer for anything that's not HD. I will just rent Naruto from Netflix. And just won't watch any repeats of older non-HD shows on Adult Swim or Cartoon Network.
