The episode was hilarious and I just about died laughing.

Loved the takeoff on the famous Wedding Video on YouTube and the extended use of the Chris Brown song really worked.

I thought it had a lot of funny moments, but on the whole had way too much cheese (e.g. mental pictures). The youtube thing felt dated already. Obviously I am in the minority.

One of my all-time favorite episodes. Perhaps because so little of it was mean-spiritied. Extra points for these bits:
Creed just eating noodles while everyone else throws up
Oscar being insulted that anyone would think Kevin is his date
Kevin wearing Kleenex box shoes
Pam's phone call regarding Andy's balls.

My wife liked the boat wedding. She made me rewind it three times.

I liked that they are giving the new receptionist more scren time. I don't remember her name. In my mind I just call her 'So Dry'.

The Wedding episode was great. I loved every minute of it.

Wasn't the sleeping-while-driving bit from Reno 911! ? Or is that a standard comedy bit?

the throwing up reminded me of the infamous Family Guy scene where allt he guys did that.

yes, excellent episode. Dwight kicking the bridesmaid will be mentioned. the only drawback was there was a bit too much of needy Michael, but that wasn't too TOO much.

surprisingly, i've never heard of that youtube wedding video.

It has over 26 million hits now and is near the the top of the all time most viewed list.

That was the single funniest episode of ANY series I have ever seen. It was more like what you would expect from a series finale than a mid season episode.

It was better than the Cosby 40th wedding anniversary episode which was my former favorite and had similar humor. The "Bad Moon Rising" episode of Everybody loves Raymond was a close second before. It is a distant 3rd now.

It was truly an Epic episode.

Great episode. The opening scene reminded me of the classic "Mr Creosote" clip from Monty Python's The Meaning of Life:

Funny, funny stuff. How about Michael's toast? You just knew he was going to say something regardless of what they said.

Michael's hooking up with Pam's mom, also his wedding gift to them (and his nude he's keeping for himself).

How about Dwight's gift? The turtle shell cracking kit/boiling pot+bibs, (and then later on a turtle tries to make a break for it).

Nobody mentioned that during the opening Pam vomiting scene that while everyone else in the office was "reaction" vomiting, Creed was just sitting there eating noodles like nothing was going on.

This has to be one of the funniest episodes of any series I've seen ever. Overall, great!!! Well written, acted, edited, choreographed and of course directed. Funny and poignant all wrapped in one. From start to finish, not a dull moment for me. I can see Emmy nominations all over it.

Mindy was a co-writer of the episode. Whenever I see her writing credit I know it's going to be a good episode.

The episode is brilliant.

Michael's attempt at a bail out is perhaps the most hilarious part. "Frankly, it's just a different sensation."

I think it is going to be hard to top this episode. Loved it from beginning to end. Anyone who thinks this show has lost a step need only to watch this episode to remind them how great it still is. Jims facial expressions are priceless and with this being his big day, you just knew we were going to get a good amount of them with that cast of characters.

The opening vomit scene was brilliant. The way Pam was staring at Dwight while she threw up was the genius of it. Creed was the icing on the cake.

The truth doesn't care whether you believe it.

Vomit scene also reminded me of some SNL bits where they did that.. (sometimes you could see the hoses behind the actors LOL)..

So, what Jim and Pam did on that hour or so they were late for the wedding? and which wedding was the real one, the church or the boat?

Um, they went and got married on the Maid of the Mist during that hour.

I was wondering why they bothered to do that since they were going to be married again at the church anyway. Unless they just wanted better memories than the circus that their wedding was turning into would provide. Wonder how many viewers who had never heard of that YouTube wedding video were scratching their heads? If you haven't seen it, you should; it's a real hoot.

Pam's wedding dress when she was crying to Jim about her veil was the most va-va-voom outfit ever to showcase Jenna Fischer's ample charms on this show. Nice.

Because they didn't know what to expect at the church that might ruin their day so they went on to get married on the boat and as Jim said was one of their back up plans.

After that the rest was gravy, that is why they were all right with the YouTube wedding skit . They always plan ahead (since they are the normal ones) knowing who they are dealing with!

Yeah, it was done HILARIOUSLY in Reno 911.

Cop 1 (zoomed in so you can't tell he's in a car): "Woah, dude I just had the strangest dream".

Cop 2: "You realize you're driving, right?"

Gotta agree that this was one of the best eps yet.

Some things not mentioned:

Michael just assuming that he would have a room and then trying to bunk with everyone, and eventually sleeping in the vending room.

The girls being "chauffeured" by Andy.

Dwight hooking up with the hot bridesmaid and his casual dismissal of her later (he's still the Kramer of this shoe - i.e. the obvious center of humor - but he just continues to bring it each week).

Speaking of Dwight, one thing I really like about this show is that they haven't lingered on with the Dwight/Andy/Angela thing. That ended last season and there haven't been any more between them. Not exactly realistic or true-to-life, but it's better to me to not waste time with any of that type of drama, especially in this episode.

But they were soaking wet, how they managed to dry up their clothes and all and come back like nothing happened to the church? I think the wet scene was after... I'm confused.

No, that is why they were late getting there because they were already married. They didn't explain how they dried, but I assume it is possible to dry off especially since there was no time frame given as to how long ago they were actually married.

Jim even said someething like "I didn't have the guts to tell them we were already legally married".
