Really, that's what's bumping you? How many times have you seen a movie star, especially a woman, dive into a river, fall off a boat, or slide down a muddy embankment into a swamp and emerge with perfect hair? Water works differently in Hollywood.

Very good episode.

The slow-witted Kevin stole the show. "Just tell Jim, that I said hi."

Great episode.
Dwight "I searched the restroom and all I found was this roach motel"

Kevin to Oscar (repeatedly) "You would love it in prison"

The truth doesn't care whether you believe it.

Kevin on the phone with the credit card company was genius. It was a perfect example of him trying to be helpful and unwittingly managing to ruin Jim and Pam's honeymoon.

The fundamental basis of those points is correct, but I think the show needed that kind of expansion in order to remain very funny. If anything, the increased zaniness gives the show more life and possibilities to move back to its roots in future episodes/seasons while keeping the viewers interested.

We enjoyed the show last night and guest star Mike Starr being mistaken for a mob protection guy was very funny. The various misinterpreted hints in that direction were well played.

Funny phone call between Jim and Michael. I love how Jim was purposely acting like the phone was cutting out just when he was getting to the part on how to get out of the deal (and of course Michael was falling for it).

Can someone tell me what Dwight hears on the recording at the very end of the episode? My DVR cut out right at the end and I missed it.

Jim is talking about different types of paper.

Very good episode tonight. The song Dwight was singing to Michael while he was massaging Michael's back was hilarious.

A couple of lines after that, Toby walks into the kitchen and both Michael and Jim simultaneously yell at him to get out. Toby is now feeling the love from both of his "co-managers".
Man what a strong episode. Dwight and his deceptive decoy duck. "It's a mallard."
Pam blowing her top. Screaming outside in the parking lot. I don't think we have ever seen her this mad before. At the meeting when Pam stands up and starts chanting, "No more stupid meetings!", Stanley is laughing and rooting her on in the background.
Kevin telling Angela to hush up at the meeting so they could listen in on Michael's phone call. Very funny episode through and through.

I like how they're making Jim more and more like Michael now that he's a manager. When Pam finds out he knew about Michael and her mom and glares over at him he gives that same old Michael "tailing nonsense" in response.

When she finds out michael is sleeping with someone's mom in the office she gets really excited and wants to find out who and gossip. Then later in the episode she's acting like she would feel bad for other people if michael was sleeping with their mom, but obviously wouldn't. Hypocrite?

Pam just seemed pretty selfish the entire episode.

There were other funny parts though, so it wasn't a bad episode. The mallard part was hilarious.

I agree that Pam was annoying. Her acting like a child didn't humor me in the slightest.

Toby just can't get any respect from management.

Yeah, I'm not really even talking about just his ability as a manager though. His responses and most importantly his mannerisms are spot on.

pam acting outrageously because her mom is boinking michael is entirley in character and appropriate. this is a comedy after all

this show would be nothing if everyone behaved in a rational manner. it's the irrationality, selfishness, and idiosyncric personalities that make this show a gem

Completely agree. Pam was annoying, both in the Michael scenes as well as her complete emasculation of Jim. And, I definitely picked up on the fact that they were trying to emulate a "stepfather-stepdaughter" relationship with the them in a few of the scenes. It just wasn't funny to me at all though.

I was also annoyed at the "Frank and Beanzzz" stuff too, but I'm thinking I was supposed to be. Are they starting to imply that Jim isn't the "cool guy" anymore? Not sure...

Agree that the rest of the episode had it's moments though:

- Dwight's crazy "surveil" technique and his willing acceptance of the car-wash punishment.

- Ryan's treatment of Kelly and that ridiculous hat he was wearing.

- The continued utter and complete dissing of Toby was both hilarious and sad.

Don't understand the annoying Pam comments. If anyone in that office knows Michael, it's Pam. And just the thought of him being in any type of a relationship with her mother would certainly drive her over the edge and would be fully understandable.
