I love this show. Paint ball has been done so many times before, but this was just hilarious!

I totally agree that this was the best 30 minutes of tv on that I can remember. This episode had me from beginning to end.
Loved Abed noticing the silhouette-shaped absence of paint on the walls in front of the urinals!

There was no way this episode could surpass last week, but it did have a few good lines, some character growth and the Reverse Good Will Hunting was fun if a bit half-hearted.

"You're special. You could be a plumber!"

"Now she's going to make the Disney face."

"She's the Ark of the Covenant!"

"I've never seen it but I'm pretty sure they MAILED EACH OTHER PANTS!"

"She's the Ark of the Covenant!" was the only one that made me LOL.

Still a solid ep. Can't forget Pierce: "I'm an early riser." Professor: "I'll say!"

If you haven't seen or remember Good Will Hunting, then IMHO you missed out on the best parts of the episode. Like Abed talking about "the best part of his day."

Nevertheless, while I like the show, it's clear to see that it's starting to heavily rely on film references/paraodies.

On one hand you could say it's a sitcom for movie geeks, on the other hand you could argue it's become a one-trick pony.

Indeed, if you didnt see that movie you would be lost. While they ahve been relying on the movie paraodies, I think most of it has to do with Abed. We may be seeing this through his "eyes". I think back on one of the beginning episodes he relates to everything like it was a movie. What we are seeing now are the groups happenings through his eyes. JMHO though, but it would make sense. I dont ahve any probelms with it though as the episodes they have been doing have had much better pacing and a lot more laughs then episodes in the beginning.

I tend to see the parallels of what happens in my own life and their movie equivalents, so I guess I can relate.
It's freaking funny to me.

Good episode, but could not match the brilliance of last week's show. I thought the Good Will Hunting parody was a bit forced, but still offered some good Troy-Abed interaction.

Did anyone else notice some innuendo in the conversation between Jeff and Annie over her outfit? She said something about trying to dress like a professor as if she wanted to catch Jeff's eye. I'm not sure if I'm reading too much into her comment, but I think it has been pretty clear that she has been attracted to Jeff.

Wow. Dishnetwork's feed, and both OTA signals (DTV, Stnd) dropped audio the last 6 months of tonight's finale.

CBS and every other channel is fine. Anybody bogged down?

I thought it was just okay. The only laugh I had was when Starburns shouted "Bring back Conan!" Even Abed was dialled back to normal levels.

The Jeff situation seemed a bit weird and not in an intentional way. With all the major ladies lusting after him it makes the balance of the show a bit unstable. I preferred it when Annie had an unrequited crush that would get her embarrassed.

I assume you meant 6 minutes. No problems with the Comcast signal from our system. We occasionally get a few seconds of audio dropouts on various shows, though.

I've never seen Good Will Hunting but I immediately recognized it and dug it, the parts they spoofed have been on before in trailer form, etc.

I thought the last 3 or 4 episodes were the best of the season. That Jeff is one lucky guy, I would go with the teacher myself! Chang is great. The 60 inch cookie! The Dalmatian fetish! Anything Pierce says!Great ending.

I've always liked Annie's character and hoped that Jeff would end up with her. So when Britta and Slater were fighting over Jeff, and meanwhile Annie is moving to Delaware, I thought in the back of my head that it'd be great if Annie came back... I liked the ending.

Haha, "Tranny Queen" is inspired! I also laughed at the Conan reference, and Britta taking the mic echoes Zoolander.

Troy - "...am I black boobs"

I think the middle set of boobs were "medium". The exchanges between Troy and Pierce were great this episode, like at the end when he tells Pierce he'll move in, and Pierce tells Troy he'll have his tailor size him up for a uniform.

I tend to feel more like Joel McHale in that interview linked above, that the show has been funny all along, it's just people are now catching up to the humor.
The Batman Halloween episode, John Oliver's psychology experiment, those were all awesome!

And a great season finale, brought everyone back and had a surprise twist ending...

A campaign to cast Donald Glover (Troy) as the new Spiderman.

I have to admit, I don't know what to make of it. I mean, Donald Glover is obviously a skilled comedic actor. And they always say comedy is way harder than drama.

On the other hand, gawd save us from the writers behind Abed if Troy were cast as Spiderman.

Alan Sepinwall has lots of coverage of the Community panel at Comic-Con.

Including news that Betty White will be in next season. I think White's being a bit overused now. While it's kind of cool she's on the show it also looks like bandwagon jumping now.
