What a freaking dive. It looks terrible in person. They really do an impressive job on TV making it look like a decent place to go to school (for Community College standards).

Where do they shoot? In the pilot, one of the scenes looked like Cal State Northridge. But I haven't recognized anything since then.

Still a brilliant show, but the best part of the last episode was the assurance that there will be no more Jack Black on the show. Thank god.

It's shot at Los Angeles City College.

Or, as Jeff calls it, a school-shaped toilet.

They put a lot of stuff into this episode. I loved the dysfunctional table scene at the end, especially the silent stares as everyone checked out their prospects, or lack of them.

Funniest episode since the Halloween show. As VisionOn mentioned, there was a lot going on, a lot of old business (such as Vaughn, whose "breath is so bad his butt's mad at his mouth") tying everything together. The writing staff really seems to care about this show.

Let's hope NBC does too or canceling this show would be even stupider than dumping Conan (NBC has already renewed Parks and Recreation but not Community).

I also liked the reference to the earlier sexual tension between Jeff and Annie.

Abed's turn this week ...

"I'm Abed, I neveeer watch TV."

"Balance restored I guess."
"Movie reference."

That last line took me a second to realize what the writers did and then I laughed out loud.

Nice 80's montage this week.

"I CHOOSE SHORTS!"

Wow, they jammed a lot into that episode and they didn't waste any of it, even the bagel gag was used to good effect. Naked pool was er ... interesting, but Danny Pudi owned that episode again.

Besides being an awesome White Abed his turn as Don Draper from Mad Men was a great crossover reference. Alison Brie was especially cute in that scene as well.

Damn I love this show! Hilarious ep tonight. Got a lot of the recurring characters in there too at the big pantless showdown. Brilliant writing. Even the Abed and Troy kicker was a bit weirder than usual tonight.

I loved the Rainman and Color of Money references. Someone had Tom Cruise on their mind when they wrote this...

Nice episode.

It seems to me that Britta (Gillian Jacobs) is the worst actor on this show.
She is good for a fair amount of comedic value, just don't ask her to do too much!
That said, the whole ensemble they've collected has developed a great rhythm and chemistry.
I agree, Abed is one funny dude.
Sorry, I meant "brown Joey."

From the start of the show you really had to wonder if Abed was a one trick Pony as well as the actor himself not having much range but as the show has gone on I really get the impression even though he isn't asked to do a lot he is probably one of the most talented of the group and probably very capable of doing a huge variety of acting and comedy. They are all great but I think he is the most talented of the bunch.

I don't know. Donald Glover who plays Troy is very versatile. Not only in the improv scenes with Danny Pudi but as writer and stand-up. He was writing episodes of 30 Rock before he joined Community and that was one of his first major jobs.

His career could be headed for great things based on what he's accomplished so far.

I dunno... didn't you see the show which opened with her sort of twitching as she sat at the table, then exploding at Chevy Chase when he kept trying to re-tell his joke, and all of the rest told her she needed to start smoking again?

I think part of the problem is they have set her up as the smart-mouth shrew, which is a sort of limiting cliche, and they have abandoned her being pursued by the hero, which doesn't leave her with a lot to do. But new episode tonight.

Not as flat out crazy as last week but still lots to enjoy with some great throwaway gags like Rabbi Chang and the Naboo reference. Troy crying while Britta was beaten had me in hysterics. The Glee reference was pretty funny too.

Community casually tosses around jokes for a one minute laugh that most shows would write an entire episode around.
