I believe that the reason they wanted to get David Lee (Zach Grenier) back was to try to retain the huge Chum Hum account.

Ouch. Thought this was probably one of the worst episodes of The Good Wife in six seasons. Nothing about it worked for us. It just came across as terribly pretentious and sanctimonious. A little too ambitious and poorly executed episode.

I have to agree. My least favorite episode to date.

I agree, last 2 episodes have not been what I expect from this show. I do wish she would just go back to the law firm.

So, we will have Alicia as the State's Attorney vs. the re-jiggered law firm.
The Good Wife (as great as it is) is the Taco Bell of television. Re-combine the ingredients and sell as something new.

Indirectly Outta Compton

I think they need to soften Alicia up a bit and make her likable again. This show began, for me at least, as the story of a wounded woman establishing herself and getting her life back. Now she is just kind of a mean bully and I find it hard to root for her.

This episode was a bit of a chore to get through.

They couldn't get Josh Charles back on for the few minutes of screen time?

I want the election to be over.

Enough with Kalinda and the drug lord. Please.

Very bizarre with only a few good moments. The best was when Peter was with Kalinda and said to Alicia "this isn't the way we really speak" (or something like that).

I enjoyed it more than everyone else here apparently. I love that the show has the balls to debate the non-theism & theism debate. I thought that part was very well played.

I figured the typical viewer would hate it... I thought it was one of the best. She really nailed the nuances of Alicia's personality as she experienced each passing thought. So much so it was hard not to be there with her...

Most of tonight’s episode of The Good Wife is spent in Alicia Florrick’s head. “Mind’s Eye” begins with one of those brilliant Good Wife cold opens that feels like the opening number of a musical. The dramatic but fluid camerawork, sweeping score by series composer David Buckley, and artistically staged renderings of Alicia’s imagination make for one hell of a dance. And the rest of the episode maintains that kind of dreamlike flow.

http://www.avclub.com/tvclub/good-wife-minds-eye-216263 - the previous reviewer was great... this one is fine.

The list of things Alicia thought about, however, is much, much longer, and the majority of the episode is spent inside her mind. If her thoughts are always this quick, complex, and emotionally taxing, it's no wonder she has such a fondness for red wine.

Ugh! Complete stinker of an episode. I absolutely hate dream sequences in shows, and this was even worse. Just didn't work for me on any level.

This used to be the best show on broadcast television for me, and by a long shot. This season has been very inconsistent, leaning towards bad. At this point I would be happy if it wasn't renewed.

Not a good episode by Good Wife standards, but still better than 95% of other television shows.

I liked that they tried to do something different, and be inside the main character's thought process the whole show. Kudos to them for trying something out-of-the-box, even if it wasn't as well executed as I would have hoped.

Not my favorite episode but as said above, still better than the vast majority of whats on TV
I thought it was pretty tacky they couldn't either get the actor for Will to come back for a cameo or they should have just not showed his face. The way it was he looked nothing like will and was just a distraction.

I was shocked by the election results.

I wonder if we will get the equivalent of when Kate moved to D.C. in Castle?

Whatever, the writing team will be real busy.

Same here. I was hoping she would lose so we could get back to the trials and interactions within the law firm.

Really. Downtown Chicago is a nightmare of one way streets. One blockage can halt traffic over several square blocks.

Well, I know there's traffic, but this was a very lame reason for winning the election.

I don't think Alecia realized how many people she was indebted to for campaign funding, or she just didn't think she was going to win.

The email sub plot was hysterical.
