I understand that Brees did well this year, but so did a lot of players, including Peyton. Peyton also set several individual, franchise, and leauge career records this year. Just because Peyton is good every single year doesn't mean he also doesn't deserve MVP.

Yes, I'm a Colts fan, so call me biased. But I don't understand the "Peyton wasn't the MVP this year" talk. Maybe if Peyton had a really crappy year and didn't lead his team to a 14-2 season I'd understand. I saw this interesting table on ESPN detailing all four seasons that Peyton won after the MVP was announced:

Category 2003 2004 2008 2009
Team W-L 12-4 12-4 12-4 14-2
Comp.% 67.0 67.7 66.8 68.8
Pass yds 4,267 4,557 4,002 4,500
TD-Int 29-10 49-10 27-12 33-16
Rating 99.0 121.1 95.0 99.9

Looks pretty consistent to me, Peyton's had a good career. The only reason to give it to someone else would be because you want to give someone else a chance to win it, too.

Drew Brees did not win the MVP because it is not a prize to be shared but an award to be earned. Peyton is the most valuable player in the league, and it is not really close.

That's this Cowboy's fan's opinion...

You're just another long list of idiots that spew nonsense about football. You're simply just a loud-mouth trash talker. Sorry...Payton gets the nod this year, Brees was soild, but not as good as Payton IMHO. Please GO AWAY!

The way I see it, you can make a case that Brees should have been the MVP - but you can't make a case that Manning should not have been.

Gonna be fun in Indy - NEW Baltimore team (Ravens) at OLD Baltimore team (Colts).

I'm worried about Jets@Chargers - Jets run the ball, Chargers can't stop the run.

Maybe they can invite back all those Giants greats for a chance to see the final game at Giants Stadium not end in a humiliating blowout.

And as a Jets fan, I'm certainly happier facing the Chargers rather than the Colts. Not saying we'll win, but we certainly stand a much better chance by not playing against Manning and co.

Hey, they have a shot, but they must go through some pretty good teams before that can happen. At least it is always more fun playing the underdog!

Can the Ravens win the SB? Sure! Defense is sound, and the running game is sound. Anything is possible...
