Awesome episode this week. Right up there near the top - I have the cancer ep at #1. Also, Cyril was reading Three-Ten to Yuma.

Accordiing to the credits at the end of the episode, Wells, John Tremblay and Mike Smith all were part of the episode. I'm not sure who Julian and Bubbles played, though.

TV Notes
FX Renews Archer', Signs Production Deal With EPs Adam Reed & Matt Thompson
By Nellie Andreeva, Deadline.com - Feb. 23, 2012

FX has renewed its animated series Archer for a fourth season with a 13-episode order. Additionally, FX Prods, which produces the comedy, has signed an overall production deal with Archer executive producers Adam Reed and Matt Thompson and their animation studio, Floyd County Prods. In its current third season, Archer has posted ratings gains vs. Season 2 of 62% in adults 18-34 (1.03 million), 44% in adults 18-49 (1.58 million) and 32% in total viewers (2.0 million). The show's second season also was up from Season 1. On a weekly basis, Season 3 of Archer is averaging 3.31 million total viewers. It was an easy decision to order more Archer, said FX's EVP original programming Nick Grad. Adam, Matt, and our amazing voice cast are delivering one of the funniest and smartest shows on television.

The overall deal with FX Prods is for two years with an option for an additional two years that will keep Reed and Thompson with FXP for any additional seasons of Archer and any new projects they develop. The overall pact also includes Reed and Thompson's animation studio, Floyd County Prods, to continue as animators on Archer, along with FX's second animated comedy series Unsupervised, and any new animated series produced by FX Prods or developed by FX. This is the second overall deal for FXP, coming on the heels of the mega pact with the creators of another FX comedy hit, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphias Rob McElhenney, Glenn Howerton and Charlie Day and their RCG Prods. Reed and Thompson are with UTA.

Bwahaha! Best show on TV!

This show is consistently dirty/funny but remains clever too.

XBOX Live: Wagmman
PSN: Wagg
BFBC2: Wagman
Steam: Wag

My Second Life character looks and acts exactly like me except he can fly.

It's an odd paradigm I know but Archer and The Amazing Race are the only two must watch/record programs on television for me. Archer has yet to fail to blindside me with....something so off the wall and bizarrely hilarious! Thrilled to learn of the additional season!

Some shows are hit or miss... but so are most TV shows. I continue to be glad I lucked upon finding Archer when it first started.

I wasn't watching anything on F/X... so I almost missed Archer when it first aired... I only caught it by accident because I was reading something completely different and saw mention that the folks who had done some other Adult Swim stuff (like Frisky Dingo) were doing a new show.

Sterling Archer is very much like the hero character from Frisky Dingo.

Yeah baby!  It's Halloween!

Ok didn't Ray hint that he was faking it, in the 3rd or 2nd to last episode last season?

Pam never did actually find that 5th beer can & I'm wondering if it will turn up later on. LOL Also, whats-his-name got his arm back (but Lana still has those man-hands so it may come off again). Looks like more of the same off the wall comedy of the previous seasons. biggrin.gif

He was faking it, as revealed in the episode where he goes back to his hometown. He was subsequently paralyzed for real in the space shuttle crash in the season finale.

Pam eventually found beer number six right at the end of the episode. It was very bloody.

And yeah, I just had to go back and watch the season 1 episode with Conway Stern as soon as this one was over! Great callback.

I came into this show very late and just recently watched every episode thus far. I probably ignored it because I watch almost nothing animated.

I am really glad that I did give it a chance, as it is just my kind of humor. The quirks of each character work extremely well together.

This show is even more proof that FX is a veritable television goldmine.

FX Sets January Premiere Dates for 'Justified', 'Archer' & 'Chozen'; 'The Americans' Set to Premiere in February
Written By Amanda Kondolojy / November 5th, 2013 / tvbythenumbers.com

LOS ANGELES, November 5, 2013 – FX has locked down the January premiere dates of its original series including the Emmy Award-winning drama Justified, the hit animated comedy Archer, and its new animated comedy Chozen, which had been scheduled to run on FXX but now will be paired with Archer for a Monday night animation block. With the move of Chozen to FX, FXX will pair Ali G: Rezurection with the critically acclaimed original comedy series Legit. The scheduling announcements were made today by Chuck Saftler, President of Program Strategy and COO, FX Networks

“Winter has become an incredibly active time for the launch of original series for FX Networks,” said Saftler. “FXX provides us with greater scheduling flexibility and our recent deal for Ali G: Rezurection created a strategic opportunity to pair it with Legit, two compatible shows that will play very well together. This allows us the opportunity to use Archer – our highest-rated comedy – as a powerful launch springboard for Chozen and help us build our animation brand.”

Up first for FX in the new year is Season 5 of the Emmy and Peabody Award winning drama series Justified, which premieres on Tuesday, January 7 at 10 PM ET/PT.

Season 5 of FX’s hit animated comedy series Archer moves to a new night, airing Mondays at 10 PM ET/PT beginning on January 1

The series premiere of Chozen is set for Monday, January 13 at 10:30 PM ET/PT

Kinda weird how Archer isn't on the new FX network, FXX. Archer is indeed a comedy, I thought they were transferring comedies over to FXX.

I, for one am happy it isn't. There is something wrong about putting a series on basic cable, getting you hooked on it, and then moving it to a new channel you have to pay extra for.

Your provider doesn't include FXX in the same package as FX?  Yes, that bites.  It would be different if a show canceled by one network were picked up by a different network, but viewers shouldn't be penalized because a network shuffles a program from one of its channels to another.

You won't have that problem with "Archer," at least, since it's staying on FX.  Like Young C, I was also surprised that it is not moving to FXX, but "Anger Management" is another comedy that has remained on FX.  (FXX has been airing reruns of "Anger Management" from past seasons, though.)

That's horrible. Unfair.

Maybe contact FX and complain. If you have a top-tier package, you should be able to have FXX. FXX isn't a premium movie network like HBO, Showtime, etc.

1. FXX just debuted two months ago as the replacement for Fox Soccer Channel; maybe LonWolf65's provider still has it on a sports tier, or if they never offered FSC, maybe they don't carry it at all.

2. Fans of "Chozen" should be known as "Chozen People."
